  Gas meter updated and leak discovered at gas fireplace. Maynard came out an recommended we cut the pipe and cap it so we can get gas turned on and they can check for leaks and address. They did the work. But after gas turned on and a week passes Maynard asked to return our call as our technician was sick. So no call for two weeks. We call again and are told Maynard is no longer doing natural gas work. They left us in the air like that. I have never seen that before. Don’t let them in your house. Don’t give them any money and don’t award them your ultimate resource, trust. They don’t deserve it. Absolutely despicable.

  My review is about the scheduling and communication, not the service. Maynard has always provided excellent service and their technicians are great. However, since they switched to AI to schedule appointments things have gone downhill. I scheduled an afternoon appointment over a week ago, and was told the tech would arrive between noon & 5. No one came. At 4:45 I called and see to the AI Chatbot "Dane" and was told someone would call me. No. One. Called. Ever. I figured my appointment was lost in the AI ether, and forgot about it and planned to call another service. Then, this morning (8 days after the original appointment) we got a text saying the tech is arriving in a few minutes. Surprise! Luckily I was home. The tech was even confused about the scheduling. He did the inspection and service fine. But I had other things on my schedule today I had to juggle and/or move around. I can't deal with a company whose appointments are chosen on a roulette wheel without updating the customer. Dump the A.I.!!

  I called Maynard because my upstairs unit was cycling off and on frequently They showed up the next day as scheduled. I received text message and pics of the technician Josh before he arrived. He was kind, courteous and professional. Looked at the unit showed me pics was honest and upfront. Then they sent Billy the project manager and he was an absolute pleasure to deal with. He spent time explaining the pricing and although it was quite expensive, I trusted that the pricing was fair. A few days later Randy showed up as scheduled with the unit and they installed it quickly. He was also kind and professional. He showed me how to use the new thermostat and explained a few things. After that we are all set. They made my unfortunate situation bearable and kept me in the loop throughout the entire process. I would definitely recommend.

  Our heater was malfunctioning and overheating our home after the recent freeze/power outage. We ALWAYS choose Maynard for our plumbing and electric needs and are never disappointed. Josh was our tech last time we had an issue with our heater/air system and he remembered us when he arrived for this issue. He was respectful, communicative, thorough, and quickly found and fixed the issue. Everything is working as it should. Grateful for continued excellent and trustworthy service from Maynard and from Josh!
