Our barndominium was constructed with a level of care, craftsmanship, and attention to detail that you simply do not get from large, production-style builders who rush projects in a matter of days. KD Construction customized every aspect of our build to fit exactly what we wanted while consistently using high-quality materials and never cutting corners. Throughout the entire process, every contractor who walked through our home commented on the exceptional building quality and had nothing but praise for KD and their team. I made frequent changes along the way, and KD was always patient and accommodating, often implementing adjustments without additional cost. Building a home inevitably comes with a lot of moving pieces, and occasional issues are bound to happen no matter who you build with. When anything was not quite right, KD addressed it promptly and made sure it was corrected the right way. It went up quickly and it looks like a garage vs a pole barn. We paid a bit extra (not much really) to have the front-facing exterior match our board-and-batten existing garage and house. It makes all the difference aesthetically. FAST: We called to get a quote for what we wanted and Kyle was out to view the site within 24 hrs. And, in another 24 hrs we received a quote document with cost breakdown in an email. Concrete was poured within weeks. Once concrete was cured, total construction including build, electrical and gutters took 2-3 weeks. We decided to then get dirt fill and leveling to finish it off. And KD took care of that within days from the final build completion. Project complete ! EXCELLENT BUILD: Quality construction pole barn/garage. Beefy construction made with 8x8 post with 2x6 stringers as opposed to 2x4 stringers we have seen with other construction companies. Walls have cross-bracing, which we haven’t seen before but, do appreciate. Work site was always clean. Thanks so much for making our neighbors envious. Ha ha! No really, we’ve gotten lots of compliments.

Not necessarily. This is the reason pole buildings are cheaper! The structure does not rest on a foundation as a house does. This design uses the poles to hold the weight of the building. The concrete base is placed to secure the poles better, and there are multiple methods for this.

We offer several different types of foundations for your pole building. This part of your building is super important to the overall durability of the entire structure. We provide you with the choices of a perma-column wet set foundation, perma-column concrete post, or a traditional concrete pad. Your choice of foundation depends on the size of your building and what you’ll use it for.
