  Outback Construction, Whit Gammon, and Harrison Terry just completed turning our pool and pool house vision into our backyard oasis. Outback Construction and Whit came highly recommended by several in our neighborhood and when I decided to reach out, Whit came to our house the next day to discuss the project. Communication from day one was second to none and that didn't change once the project started. If we ever had a question, concern or wanted to brainstorm ideas, they were not only very responsive but would even come onsite to discuss. We were a little concerned about the budget since we have heard so many of these projects go way over budget, but Whit was extremely transparent from day one. He created a spreadsheet with line items for each part of the project and when a step was completed he would update the spreadsheet with the final cost so we could follow along. This helped us make decisions on splurging or cutting throughout the project. Whit and/or Harrison were onsite basically every day something was happening to make sure things were going smoothly and exactly as expected. The subs they use are high quality professionals and stay on schedule. Getting exactly what we wanted in our back yard was challenging because of odd set backs, shape of our yard and the location of a septic systems but Whit worked with us on several design ideas and assured us he could make it work. And he DID! The way our back yard turned out is better than we could have ever imagined. The flow from the pool area to the firepit area to the patio and to the pool house create unique, distinct areas but also none of the areas feel isolated.   We loved working with Whit and Chet. They always kept in communication with us keeping us updated regularly. They are very knowledgeable in all things construction. Highly recommend!

  We had a wonderful experience with Outback Construction for our detached garage/apartment (DADU) combo. We appreciated Whit's responsiveness, overall communication, and transparency throughout the entire process. If there ever was a question or concern, it was answered timely and appropriately. We've worked with several contractors before and can attest that Whit and his team are a step above the rest. Would highly recommend.

  Could not more pleased with our experience with Outback Construction. They did a garage addition as well as an Outdoor Patio with storage/bathroom. The process with incredibly smooth, quality of work unmatched, and the line of communication always open with Whit. These guys are true professionals in every sense of the word. I have recommended them to many friends/neighbors and will continue to do so. They hit every benchmark either on time or early and even managed to get our project completed under budget. We honestly could not be any happier with the end result as well as the process throughout. I would absolutely not hesitate to utilize Outback Construction again! Thanks for an incredible experience!
