If I could give 10 stars I would! Excellent customer service! When I first called the lady over the phone doesn't no this but she brought peace to my spirit in the mist of chaos. I had so many plumbers out and was given so many outrageous prices over something that seemed so small but it was something about her voice and her customer service that comfort me and I new this was going to be the company I went with before I was even got an estimate because it was something about this woman's voice that made me feel like they were honest people. And sure enough after she sent someone out the price was nearly half of what other plumbing companies had quoted me! Plumbing Authorities will definitely be my go to place for all my plumbing needs! Thanks so much!

I’ve used a few different plumbers over the years, and I’m usually pretty skeptical about trying someone new, but I truly couldn’t recommend this company enough. Chase was absolutely amazing. He was very thorough, took the time to explain everything clearly, and made sure I fully understood what was going on instead of just rushing through it. He explained loads of different options I had and the costs effectively.
He was professional, patient, and genuinely cared about doing the job right. It’s rare to find someone who combines skill with great communication, but Chase did exactly that. Overall, it was such a smooth and positive experience, and I’ll definitely be using them again in the future.
Excellent Service from Chase - Thank You
I wanted to take a moment to share how pleased we were with the service Chase provided at our home this morning.
He came out to fix a clogged bathroom sink and was extremely friendly and professional throughout the visit. He resolved the clog quickly, then took the extra step of crawling under the house to inspect the pipes and confirm there was no damage, which we truly appreciated given that our home is older. He also provided us with an estimate to replace the pipes, as they are over 60 years old, and explained everything clearly.
We were very satisfied with the overall experience and the level of care Chase demonstrated. Based on this visit, we would absolutely recommend him to our friends and family.
Thank you for providing such dependable and high-quality service.
Austin and his company were fantastic from start to finish. They responded the same day I called, came out quickly, and handled everything on the spot. The repairs were done efficiently and correctly, and they even offered coupons and worked with me on the price, which I really appreciated. Everything was completed in one visit and has been working perfectly since. Honest, fast, and reliable—I highly recommend them.

Short version: overpriced, incorrect diagnosis, hidden fees, upselling techniques, lack of experience. Saved myself over $3,000 by doing it myself. Another plumber quoted less than half for the same job. I will NEVER use Plumbing Authority again.
First, I guess they have a $50, or 100, or 200 something diagnostic fee, just for coming out and looking at the problem, even if you chose not to do work with them? That was never explicitly told to me over the phone when i scheduled the appointment. Fortunately, the man who came, Chase, waived the fee.
The real problem is the estimate itself. He told me he would need to cut into my drywall behind the shower, install an access panel, and basically gut the entire shower piping to fix it. Quoted over $1600 for this. I had done some reasearch, and it was possibly just a bad cartridge in the shower. I asked about this. Chase told me "based on the age of the home (34 years) that there's not a cartridge in there. They didn't start doing that more widely until about 15 years ago". Again, looked it up and this is blatantly false.
Second, he quoted me an entirely different job I didn't ask for, for a new shutoff valve and PRV. Verbally he said an additional $1600, but his paperwork only reflected about $900. He said the water pressure to my house is low... about 30 PSI. He checked this, of course, while the water was on and the shower had resumed leaking..... any professional plumber knows you have to have all water faucets off to get an accurate reading. I got a pressure gauge myself, and it was actually high (closer to 100)....
I ended up turning down his offer, spent about 3 hours on Google and going to Lowes, and fixed it myself with *would you guess...* a CARTRIDGE. The cartridge I was told did not exist in my setup.
This guy was not a plumber, he was a salesman. Be wary of the advice, quotes, and prices from these guys. Lacking serious experience.
