  We hired Blass Construction to create a concrete walkway and extend our driveway, and we were very pleased with their professionalism and dedication to customer satisfaction. What initially seemed like a simple project turned out to be more challenging than expected, but Josiah from Blass Construction went above and beyond to ensure everything was completed correctly. Throughout the process, Josiah was responsive, proactive, and truly listened to our concerns. Whenever issues arose, he personally came out multiple times to inspect the work and make sure everything was handled properly. After a larger problem surfaced, he coordinated directly with the subcontractor and ensured that all corrections met our expectations. We’re so grateful Josiah was the one overseeing our project. Dealing with contractors can be stressful, and my mother and I have often felt that as women who understand a bit about construction, our input can be easily dismissed. Josiah was the complete opposite—he listened to us, respected our perspective, and made sure we felt heard and supported every step of the way. What impressed us most was his commitment—he drove an hour and a half each way to oversee our project and stayed on-site for most of the final day to make sure everything was done properly. That level of care and follow-through is rare, and we truly felt that he had our best interests at heart from start to finish.

  We hired Blass Construction to convert our carport into a master bedroom. Everyone was a pleasure to work with and the work exceeded our expectations. We added on blown insulation for the crawl space and a porch cover with a matching roof at the last minute and they made sure we got what we asked for. We worked directly with both Martin and Tony, and they were nothing but amazing. We could not thank them enough for all that they did. They not only made this project a breeze, but they made sure we were happy through out the whole process. We will definitely be hiring them again for any future projects.

  I am being very generous with 3 Stars. The winter storm left some of my gutters and soffit on the ground and some hanging off my house. Blass Construction came on the scene and got the open spaces to my attic sealed up until work could start. Communication was great at first. Once they contracted the work out to Brothers Gutters, everything went south. They sent 2 guys who spoke no English with no supervisor on the job. They tried to use the old 2 x 4 that had snapped under the weight of the ice, though I paid for new wood, and there were places it butted together with no support. The wood nailed up in the center was angled, yet the ends were straight. They had completely missed to the right and left of the rafter ends with nails on over half of the back of the house. One guy tried to use about a 9 inch screw and he split the wood. I contacted Blass and they made them fix it, as far as I know. Now comes the gutter crew, even worse. My rear gutter had too much fall on one side and not enough on the other. The end caps weren’t on all the way and no caulk inside at the ends. They also tried to put back my old gutter guard that was bent, even though I paid for new gutter guard. There were gaps up to 6 inches where there was no gutter guard. Keep in mind, I had to spend my time supervising their crew. They actually did a good job on the front middle section. Blass made them redo the rear gutter, but they scratched up my new fascia metal wrap and my new gutters doing it. They also scuffed up my siding. Blass told me they would make it right, until they got tired of coming back over and over because the work was not done correctly. The front right gutter was the worst. There were gaps where the gutter was away from the house and angle downward. The drip guard didn’t fit like it did everywhere else. I kept telling them something was wrong, but they said it was good. They scuffed up the fascia metal in the front and scratched my new gutter, but they did not replace it. They even went to my neighbors house once and started taking his gutter off and they argued with him when he told them it was the wrong house. They left debris and screws in my flower beds and driveway and left tools behind too. The only reason I paid the final bill is because they upgraded me to a 5 Year Warranty and pressure washed my house. While the rear siding should have been replaced, they cleaned it up enough that it’s bearable and will eventually blend in. I did not want them to touch my house again and mess something else up. They used my ladders and never put them back where they got them from. Even the guy that pressure washed left my hose laying out in the yard instead of putting it back. They certainly do not pay attention to detail or clean up their mess. They left damage to my home that was not there before. I had another gutter company come out and they are replacing the damaged fascia that had pulled away from my house on the front right side that Blass missed and he is going to touch up my scratched gutters. He is also replacing the gutter on the left that had pulled away and was angled that Blass said was ok. It is not ok. While they made an effort to make things right, the bottom line is they didn’t. They simply got tired of dealing with it and left the customer to deal with their poor work. Do not let them use Brothers Gutters if they work on your house. I can’t speak for the work an actual Blass Crew may do, but they missed things and left messes as well. I will never use them again and I do not recommend them, at least for gutters and soffits.
