  I do NOT recommend Greene County Plumbing Solutions. Bottom line, find another plumbing contractor. These guys are amateurs. If interested in my extremely unsatisfied experience, please read on. I needed to do some digging in my backyard and do not want to accidentally damage my septic system. Tyler told me they could locate my underground waste pipes to my septic tank and the drain field. He quoted me $250 over the phone. Four "plumbers" showed up to do the work. I was not getting a very confident feeling watching the 4 of them, as they all didn't seem to be on the same page, but I was reserving judgement, as they were supposedly the professionals. One of them was walking around using a soil probe to try and locate my underground system, while the other three seemed to be unfamiliar as they tried to employ a sewer camera with depth locator through one of my sewer clean outs. First, they marked my waste pipes from my house to the septic tank (my septic risers are above ground). Then, they tried feeding their camera through a riser and into the start of my 350 feet drain field piping. The camera went less than 30 feet before they said there was an obstruction and they could not go any further. They marked that spot for me and used their soil probe to confirm my septic system, perhaps the distribution box, was where they had marked. I begrudgingly accepted their findings, and they told me the cost for their service was now $300, which I paid. A few days later, I dug up the spot Greene County Plumbing Solutions had marked for me, and found NOTHING! I dug a 3 ft by 4 ft wide hole, almost 2 ft down, less than 30 feet from my septic riser and found NOTHING! I contacted Tyler and he started to make a lot of excuses about the accuracy of the camera and locator, and the scope of the work. Not once did he offer to come back out and try to relocate the actual location of the pipe. Now, I have to question the location of where they marked my waste pipes from my house to the septic tank, given I found nothing where they marked for me to dig. And, instead of reducing the original price they quoted me for not being able to complete what I asked, they actually jacked up my price another $50. Greene County Plumbing Solutions is gonna say the supposed obstruction in my drain field pipe prevented them from going any further. I sincerely question that, given this "obstruction" is less than 30 feet away from my septic tank, and my tank is not backing up and the drain field is not leeching to the surface. And, I just had my septic tank pumped out 3 months ago. By digging, I was hoping to confirm what they were telling me the problem was. I cannot do that since these amateur plumbers had me dig in the wrong spot. Sorry for the long explanation. My strong recommendation is to AVOID Greene County Plumbing Solutions.

  They came out immediately for emergency services with our basement and septic issues. They were efficient, knowledgeable, courteous, professional, and neat! They even replaced our landscaping to like new condition! Their price was very reasonable. We would highly recommend them!
