  I don't understand any of the negative reviews about Melton. The only reason they haven't answered phones in my experience was due to technical difficulties outside of their control and they were very communicative about this issue on their Facebook page and their website. The employees of Melton I have dealt with over many years have always been friendly and helpful. The owner is humble and fair, and still comes out to customer's home personally to fix units. Melton is a very reputable, local company and I will remain a loyal customer. I hope the 1 star reviews get outnumbered with the positive reviews you deserve. Thank you for remaining locally owned and operating with integrity even in a world majority operated by money motivated, large corporations.

  Great company. When my furnace went down they came out that day. Unfortunately the original diagnosis was not the issue, but they gave me a very fair quote on a new system and stood by it and didn’t charge me for the original diagnosis. Every one I dealt with was pleasant, timely and transparent. While awaiting the new system install they even gave my family some electric heaters to keep warm. They were not the cheapest but were far from the most expensive and stand behind their work. In this business quality and service matter more than just being cheap. They were very respectful of my house and time.

  If I could give zero stars I would. Had Melton for 30 years and bought 2 HVAC systems from them. But they are not the same They wouldn't answer the phone when called several times for routine maintenance. I am older and not used to scheduling by computer. I prefer to speak to a person especially since I had questions. A person did finally call back, but he was very rude and tried to intimidate me ( I wonder if he would have been so nasty if I had been a young man...I really wonder). These people don't appreciate loyalty. I suggest you don't waste your time with them.

  Several phone calls - no-one answers. Left voicemail with request for call back to arrange bi-annual HVAC service. No-one called back after several days! Will find alternative business.
