Fantastic product, poor customer service, and non-existent warranty work after the sale. This is a franchisee with no Corporate Customer Relations to arbitrate disputes. If you read reviews in this thread you will the notice the commonality of complaints by those leaving less than 5 star reviews: "...great product, nothing after the sale...". My experience: 2016 all windows in house replaced. Great looking, satisfied. 2018 first request for warranty work on a screen. After order placed, no updates back regarding status for over a year. Several calls placed with no reply. Physically show up to the store to ask about order. Told the ticket was closed (no reason given) but that they would be happy to start over and order a new one. Instead, I paid another local small business to have every screen replaced and very happy with new look. Second warranty job placed in June of 2025. Today, December 15, 2025 no phone call, no email with status update on parts ordered by Technician that inspected the work in June. I called the office after being patched through by the customer service line and was told by the receptionist that they've had a high turnover rate in their service department and that the person who inspected the work to be done no longer worked at the company. Is this an excuse as to why they never reached out to update me or compete the job? The receptionist then told me that the work order had been closed out with no explanation. She then offered to reopen the work order and would start the process over again. I told her don't worry about it because I can't trust that the company would not do this again and I will once again pay out of pocket to have another company repair the work that was supposed to be honored by their lifetime warranty. Once again this is a great product but extremely poor service with no other options except to go out of pocket with another company.
Update: Received a reply from Window World with a link to their warranty for review. I copied and pasted here what their warranty is:
"Mechanical Parts Warranty—All mechanical parts (locks, vent stops, balances) are warranted to be
free from manufactured defects in material and workmanship. Replacements for any defective
mechanical parts will be supplied at no charge."
So....six months of waiting with not a single word regarding work order until i call them; then this immediate reply after posting my review. I cant help but notice the irony. Come on. Do better, guys.
