I gave them a 2 instead of 1 because they were super quick getting a technician out to my home, and everybody was friendly...but fast and friendly did me no good, because the plumber (Corey) "unclogged" the wrong part of the line. Instead of telling me there was no clog in the pipe I showed him, and investigating to see where the clog actually WAS, he went through the motions of cabling through the pipes, and fifteen minutes later told me he was done. He charged me $234...He said that if I had any more problems, I needed to have my septic tank pumped out...I didn't have any more problems flushing my toilets, because he put the cap to the port on wrong, and the excrement was still pouring out into my backyard... When my sister and her husband (who know much more about plumbing than me) came over a few days later, they informed me that he had not fixed the problem, and that the only reason the toilets were flushing was because the 💩💩 was still coming out into the yard... I called them back and told them that the problem was not fixed, and that the clog was further down the line. They told me that I needed to have the septic tank pumped out... My sister knew that was not the problem, so we went with Chickamauga Plumbing and Septic Systems. Their plumber instantly removed the real clog instead of an imaginary one, and only charged me $150, compared to their $234, and he didn't try to talk me into an unnecessary septic tank pumping. I called Roto Rooter back to request a refund, since I now had to pay two plumbers to get the job done. They said no, that the only thing they would have done was send the same apathetic technician back out who hadn't bothered to find where the actual problem was, but they also gaslit me and insisted that the reason the plumbing was still backed up was because of a full septic tank... Lesson learned; in the future, I will insist that the plumber comes back out, regardless of whether or not they tell me it won't do any good...By not doing so, it left them a loophole to avoid making me whole...I fully recommend the honest, more affordable plumbers at Chickamauga Plumbing and Septic... They won't take advantage of your lack of knowledge of how plumbing lines run...
