  Do not recommend. Multiple things were missed on our home inspection and we’ve only been here two weeks. Hopefully it doesn’t get worse from here. They also missed our termite inspection completely. They promised a refund on the termite inspection that was never done and have not followed through despite us reaching out multiple times.

  Alex from Preis did an excellent job with all the home inspections. I did a 1031 exchange and had to purchase 3 properties in 45 days. He was always 100% reliable with the scheduling and was incredibly detailed with all the home inspections I needed. His father also helped me out with one of the inspections and also went above and beyond to help. Their experience and expertise is great! Scheduling was also so efficient Thank you Preis !

  Can't recommend this company enough! They went above and beyond, even helped us make sense of an inspection report we received for a different property. Took their time and was very thorough, and explained everything concisely. Alex was great!

  Exploring legal options! Don’t be fooled by “fool proof” contracts. Companies can have protection clauses for mistakes. But civil court provides for an opportunity to prove and be compensated for a complete lack of ability to perform the services for which a company represents they perform. And clearly, this company will have a difficult time defending themselves. We bought a house in early 2022, and our realtor recommended Preis. Now, 3 years later we are selling the home. We had an extremely misplaced sense of confidence when a prospective buyer had an inspection. Now we are left holding the bag for minor and major issues which should have been caught during our 2022 inspection. It seems even an amateur inspector should have caught these issues. These are items we can prove they missed, SHOULD HAVE caught (ie: photographs with THEIR notation that no issues were observed…which now we know were clearly issues). : 1. Smoke detectors that had a 2015 expiration date 2. Double tapped neutrals in the panel 3. A porch exceeding 30” from grade and requires a handrail 4. A deck door exiting onto a stair case which requires a 36” landing….and several more. But these are good examples we can PROVE existed merely 3 years ago. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They lack the BASIC experience to inspect properties.

  I was recommended this company by my realtor when purchasing my first house 5 years ago. The house was a flip but the inspector found almost no issues and expressed great satisfaction for how the renovation was done. The floors in the back started sinking and 3 years in I had to redo the foundation. Recently I have realized the beams in my roof are structurally unsound as well. The contractor who has done most of the major work on my house and is a very good and honest professional was so appalled by what wasn’t caught on inspection that he suggested I sued. Unfortunately the inspection contract was airtight and there was nothing I could do. As a first time home buyer it was a lesson learned but I have spent tons of money and time dealing with problems that to an inspector should have been obvious. And I will continue to warn others about using this company.
