Rented a piece of equipment (jack hammer for skid steer) on Friday, was only able to use the equipment for 1 hour before it started leaking hydraulic fluid. The rental office was closed by time this event occurred and would not be open again until the following Monday which is when the equipment was due to be returned. Upon returning the equipment, my father informed them of the situation and not being able to use the equipment. He subsequently was told that he should’ve contacted the 24hr help number which we had no idea existed. And that the jack hammer wouldn’t have worked correctly on our CAT skid steer anyway, it needed to be a Sunbelt. Which is very frustrating since we verified the type of skid steer we would be using the jack hammer with prior to renting it (which I have text receipts of). So now we are out almost $400 on a piece of equipment that didn’t work longer than 1 hour. If you rent from here please be aware of what to do if your equipment fails and hope of it does that you are giving the opportunity to complete your job without wasting hundreds of dollars.

I can’t thank Brett (store manager) enough. He heard our issue & jumped in to find us a resolution. He exceeded what we had hoped for by lending us a skid steer with the jack hammer attachment to ensure we don’t run into any issues this go around. I truly appreciate the effort he put into making this work for us. We will be returning for our rental needs!

Lift (boom, scissor etc.) prices have gone up across the board regarding all companies in the last handful of years, but Sunbelt has done a good job at holding the line. Thanks, guys and gals.

Nobody beats Sunbelt Rentals. The equipment is good and the selection is huge. And the staff are all friendly and knowledgeable. No matter what you rent it has been well serviced and taken care of by people who know how to fix it. I have needed the service department to come out and work on an item and they came the same day, (within an hour of calling them ) and had me fixed up and running again within minutes. I highly recommend Sunbelt to anyone who needs to rent equipment for any job.

Is a deposit required for a reservation?
For customers without a line of credit, Sunbelt Rentals does not require a deposit to rent tools and equipment. However, you will be asked for payment information when you make your reservation. Your credit or debit card will not be charged for the rental period (one ((1)) day minimum) until you pick up the equipment.
For Credit Customers, we will secure a deposit for your reservation. This deposit will be held within your account until the rental equipment is returned and the contract closed. Apply for a credit account here.
If your project is quick and you only need the equipment for a few hours, Sunbelt Rentals does offer a Rapid Return rate. Return the equipment within four (4) hours of the pickup time and we will refund the difference of the Rapid Return rate. Rates will vary based on product. What if I need to keep my equipment longer?
If you need assistance, please contact the branch of the equipment rental and they can extend the rental for you. When you keep the equipment longer, we will add the additional time and charges to your contract and credit card. Please refer to the rental contract, where the day, week and 4-week rates are shown for each piece of tool and equipment.
Can I return rented equipment at any location?
Typically, equipment should be returned to the same location where you initially rented it. If you need to return it to a different location, please contact the store where you rented the equipment for guidance. It’s advisable to call ahead so we can assist you in finding a convenient alternative location for your return. Your convenience is our priority.
What is the cost for the delivery of equipment to my location?
The delivery charge is calculated based on the category and class of equipment, the location of the rental location, the distance of the project site from the rental location.
Can I get tools and equipment delivered to me?
Yes, Sunbelt Rentals offers convenient delivery options from our extensive network of locations for a reasonable fee. When making a reservation, simply select the delivery option. During the reservation process, you can specify the delivery drop-off date and time, as well as your estimated equipment pickup date. The estimate is for our planning purposes and not a final date.
To initiate our equipment pickup service, you must confirm the end of your rental via the app or by phone. Additionally, if you have specific delivery instructions or prefer a designated contact person for coordination, please include those details when submitting your reservation.
For businesses utilizing a commercial credit account, associated delivery and pickup fees will be reflected in your invoice.
To receive notifications about your delivery, adjust your settings in your account to receive reminders and updates related to your delivery and pickup.
What happens if a tool breaks or quits working while I am renting it?
Sunbelt Rentals inspects and services each piece of equipment prior to each rental and should be in good working order. If you experience problems with the tool while renting it, please go to the specific Equipment Detail page within the reservation to request service. If you need additional assistance, please contact the branch of the equipment rental and they can arrange for next steps or a replacement. If you want to have protection in the event of damage, Sunbelt Rentals offers a Rental Protection Plan (RPP), which can be purchased at the start of your rental.
