We hired Big Rock Insulation to install insulation in our garage. During the installation, less than an hour after the crew arrived, one employee went to the side of our garage and urinated on the property in view of several neighbors.(we have this on video and photo attached)
During the initial estimate, Big Rock Insulation advised us to move the items in the garage 2–3 feet away from the wall and stated they would be able to work around them. After the work began, my husband was contacted at work and asked to come home and move the items out of the garage. My husband was at work and unavailable to assist, so the workers moved the items into the driveway. At the end of the day, our belongings were left outside in the driveway after dark. I moved our belongings back into the garage. As I was finishing up, a sales rep arrived and offered to help, but I requested that she leave the property.
After the job was completed, we noticed several issues with the workmanship. Insulation was missed around the windows and around the door. One of the overhead garage doors would not function due to a cut sensor wire that will require the removal of plastic and insulation to repair. Light bulbs were not put back in, and plastic was left covering the windows, power outlets, and the electrical panel.
The manager contacted my husband the following day and requested that we remove our review. He tried to deceive my husband about conversations we had, fortunately the security video recorded the truth. He did offer to return and correct the unfinished items, however, due to the experience, my husband chose not to allow the company back onto our property, and we will address the remaining issues ourselves.
Based on our experience, we would not recommend Big Rock Insulation. (See attached photos)
