- RSRodney SolienJan 23, 20265.0Had electrical interlock kit installed to my main 2 panels Outlets were put on exterior of home to plug my generator into either panel Also they put 2 gauges inside off the panel to show current draw They did a proffesional job, very neat during work, and scheduled the installation within 2 weeks of contacting them It sure worked out good because of the major ice storm everyones power was out for about 6 days It really came in handy to run my TV ,computer, charge cell phones, cook, wash clothes, hot water for a shower, run the dishwasher etc I just used propane heaters to heat the home It takes a really big generator to run the furnace for heat but it can handle A/C ok Mitchell electric came out and gave me a bid with in 5 days then we moved forward and scheduled the installation I probably could have installed this myself but it would have not been any way near their expert professional job done Highly reccomend!! Thank You
