We are located in Sioux Falls, SD
How long does it take to complete an average job?
o For decks and pergolas, the typical duration is between 1 to 2 weeks, depending on the size, complexity, and weather.
o For tables, desks and custom woodworking projects, it's a little different. Small projects still fall within that 1-2 week turn around, but custom tables and desks are often longer for a number of reasons, depending on the complexity.
Some tables can be 2-4 weeks, if it's purely wood and size is between small to standard.
Specialty tables, such as conference tables, epoxy desks, etc, can often be 6-9 months. This is often due to making sure the wood is dry enough and not impacted by the various humidity of the seasons, the epoxy has a time to cure, the finish also has a time to cure, and many other variables. In this area, each project varies, and each one is worth the wait.
What materials do you use for deck & pergola projects?
o We typically will use a brown pressure treated wood for the structure of our decks.
o The deck boards we install are typically composite ones from Trex or TimberTech, but we also install cedar and pressure treated deck boards too.
o The default railing we install is also a brown pressure treated structure, flat 1x2 black metal spindles/baulasters, and a top hand rail made from the same material used for the deck boards.
We also install metal, composite, privacy, cable railings
o Optionally, we can also install a rubber memberane to redirect water way from the underside of a deck. This comes in handy if you want to keep things under the deck dry when it rains.
What materials do you use for woodworking projects?
o Our typical table projects can vary between domestic wood, exotic wood, and/or epoxy.
o Our table legs can be pre-fabricated metal legs or we can custom make wooden legs in house, depending on the budget.
Are there any jobs or projects don't you work on?
o There are a number of things we get asked to do, but are not able to. Here is a brief list: cabinets, interior finish work, exterior siding, landscaping, & electrical work
