  We had our deck rebuilt by Ames at Balanced Building & Repair, and he did an EXCELLENT job! The inspector even said that our house (built in 2022) would probably fall before this deck does 🤣. It is super sturdy and 17ft high!! We had someone else build our previous deck, and that thing was coming apart within 2 years, all because we went with the cheaper builder. Ames has great vision of how a deck should look and feel. He communicated constantly with updates and answered every question thrown his way. Karina was also a great communicator and expertly handled the back end with the financials, permits, and ordering! 100% would recommend for all your building needs!

  I highly recommend Balance Building & Repair! I am so glad I found Balance Building & Repair and Ames. I was looking to add a new deck off my master bedroom. The deck needed to be strong enough to hold the weight of a hot tub. The quoting process was easy even with me complicating things by making several changes. However, Ames understood what I was looking for, he made great suggestions and did an amazing job! I am extremely happy with the finished product. I will be using Balance Building & Repair again soon!!

  Highly recommend! Came out and offered a very respectable price and was very willing to discuss his thoughts and views on what I was dealing with, without being forceful in his communication. I definitely feel like I received quality service and result for the price he gave. I definitely appreciate him and his team for a job well done. It's hard to find quality people doing quality work these days that will show up when they say they will, but will also communicate to you when things come up. Now I will say this, I did have an issue in the beginning, we did not start off on the right foot (not totally their fault either), but the fact that Ames came back to my house and waited on me to get home to discuss the problem and walk through everything impressed me. He didn't shrug me off, he acknowledged what I was saying and my thoughts, talking through it and we came out with a great understanding (on both sides) of how to move forward. The fact that he came out and discussed the problem, I was impressed. My view on Ames and his team on definitely on a high note and I will be a return customer for future needs. HANDS DOWN PROFESSIONAL and WILL RECOMMEND!!!!!
