  Emergency plumbing issue on the weekend, flooded under kitchen sink. Blanton & Sons came first thing the next morning. Darian was pleasant and efficient. Thought the price was a little high, but I've never had to have weekend service done.

  We purchased a home on Seabrook Island and had an issue with our hot water system. The previous owners recommended Blanton & Sons. The dispatchers/office folks were extremely responsive and had a technician here the next business day. First Shawn Haltiwanger to diagnose and then Mike Haltiwanger returned when the parts had arrived. Both were hard working and great communicators. Never fun to have plumbing issues but this experience was a very positive one.

  Our 21 year old HVAC system died on the Wednesday just before the deep freeze forecasted for the weekend of Jan. 31st. I called Blanton & Sons as their shop is near my home. I explained the situation to their service dispatcher and she promised to have a tech at my house very soon. Jacob Goddard arrived as promised and conducted a thorough examination of the system. The compressor outside was fine but the evaporator coil had a leak as shown by the oil residue visible in the unit in the attic. Given the age of the system, a repair would have be a waste of money. Jacob contacted the office to advise them that a new system was warranted and Alex Zeuch was dispatched to come provide a quote. Alex arrived and did a very thorough job of evaluating the situation and recommending several options. A system was chosen and Alex said that Blanton could replace the entire system on Thursday. Brian Huber and Matt Hepstall arrived Thursday morning and immediately began dismantling the old system as more technicians were on their way with the new system. In no time, my yard was full of Blanton trucks and technicians. The technicians all worked as one and everyone was focused on a specific task to finish the installation in one day. In addition to Brian and Matt, Aaron Blanton, Jacob Nettles, and several other technicians performed a very professional job on the new system. They were all courteous, friendly, and respectful. They put down drop clothes throughout their work routes and wore booties. They cleaned up the resulting mess and left everything as they found it .They were all dog lovers and my yellow lab made many friends that day. On Friday, I received a call from Aaron who wanted to come back to check on the system due to the coming weather forecast. I was not home but my wife said that he was concerned about the heat strip function. Whatever the case, the system works great and is MUCH more efficient than the old one was. I would highly recommend Blanton & Sons to anyone considering HVAC repairs or system replacements.

  The tech was very friendly if somewhat inexperienced. Advised that a new thermostat wire needed to be pulled at a cost of al most $1100. After he left I looked over wiring with factory diagrams and got everything working my self with no parts or new wire needed. So I paid $200 for a tech to tell me I had a wiring issue he couldn't fix. Unfortunately this will be my last time using Blanton's.
