  Never Sell Property, Land, or Lots to them! This is my personal experience of The DRB Group based on my experience selling a vacant lot in the Charleston, South Carolina area, and I want other property owners to be aware before entering into a contract with them. In my opinion, The DRB Group is extremely difficult to work with when selling vacant land, lots, or homesites, and I would not recommend them to other sellers or property owners. Throughout the transaction, The DRB Group repeatedly delayed the closing and enforced one open-ended extension after another. These delays happened because their team did not submit the required building paperwork to the local building department in a reasonable timeframe, which stalled the entire process. I have more than 20 years of experience in the real estate and new-construction industry, and this has been, in my opinion, the worst company and builder I’ve dealt with when selling vacant land or property. The lack of communication, urgency, and follow-through made the process frustrating and unnecessarily stressful. If you are considering selling a lot, vacant land, acreages, or homesite to The DRB Group in Charleston, SC, or the surrounding areas, I strongly recommend you do not do this, since there are certainly other options in the marketplace. I am also happy to answer any questions about my experience so that other sellers don’t have to go through the same delays and frustration I did. I can also provide documents and screenshots of my experience so that you can see how horrible the DRB process has been for my situation, so that you can avoid it altogether.

  Built my townhome through DRB in Moncks Corner, SC in April 2025, and ever since we owned our home, our gas range oven has not worked. DRB was told about it from day 1, and all they did was tell me that we had to contact the manufacturer, Whirlpool. It has been over 6 months, and it still does not work! DRB should have replaced this months ago, and they have not! I have emailed and called everyone to try to get a new gas range (that was part of my build), but they do not even respond to me! This is horrible customer service, warranty is horrible, and they just pass you around so they don’t have to take responsibility for it. Be aware if you want to build a house/townhome with them! Their customer service is horrible, and they do not care about making things right! Now, there are more issues popping up, but we have scheduled an independent inspector to come and document everything to have fixed. I would not recommend them to anyone! They need to do better and resolve issues quickly!

  DRB Homes was the best choice I could have made as a first time home buyer. The project manager (Nick Reinhardt) and Sales Associate (Karen Fitzgerald) made the entire process stress free and enjoyable for my new build. The quality and design of the home was 10/10. I would definitely use and recommend DRB Homes for any future builds!
