  Honestly, I really can't say enough good things about these folks and the owner James who came out to work on my heat pump and save me from freezing solid. I'm a first time homeowner, and also a first time resident of SC, so I didn't know anything about heat pumps before mine stopped working during this sudden ice storm and cold snap. James was amazing though, not only did he explain everything about how heat pumps work while I told him what was going on, he called me out to the unit and explained exactly what he was doing and how each part worked, how the gas is recondensed, how it draws heat from the air because of the transfer of energy, it was fantastic! Like taking a specialized class on HVAC systems anyone who has never owned a house before. It turned out there was a cracked cap on the joint where the gas line went in, so he added more freon to get me through the next couple of cold days and will come back and drain it and change the broken bits, clean the whole thing, etc. My house is finally getting warm again! And I haven't even covered what he did in the attic - there were wires not even hooked up from the improper installation! He rewired everything so that everything was actually connected properly and safely, explaining and teaching me what he was doing the whole time. Then he fixed my thermostat too, which wasn't even configured to recognize the emergency heat system. I was worried about how it would go because I filed the service request with my home warranty service, since I haven't even lived here a year, but I'm so glad they sent James. I'll definitely call him from now on any time I need something done or for maintenance. He really pulled through for me in this emergency.

  Five stars! James worked incredibly hard to diagnose and fix a problem with my heat pump. He was able to fix the problem and get my system working again just hours before a major snowstorm hit. Highly recommend this company.

  Service Pro is the best! I found them after two other companies could not solve the issue I was having with my system. Not only did they find and fix it, they did the first time and took the time to make sure it was right, explaining everything during the process. I've had them maintain my system for a few years since then and recently needed a replacement. They showed up on time, the new unit looks great, and they left their workspace in better condition than they found it. From the girls in the office to the technicians, everyone here has been so great to deal with! Highly recommended!
