The crew showed up on time, worked efficiently, and treated our home and property with great care. The craftsmanship was outstanding, and the finished roof looks fantastic. Communication was clear throughout the project, and there were no surprises—just quality work done right.   Extremely good local roofer in the Greenville area. One of only 3 roofers who have been in business greater than 50 years. He quoted me a 100 square roof replacement over a year before and gave a fair increase from a year ago when I was ready to proceed. Other roofers were higher and of questionable skillsets, just salesmen. John was a true roofer, born and raised doing this his whole life. They kept 1 crew on the full 3 day job which was good to have better quality control. Be careful of roofers who bring out multiple crews because they cannot oversee so many people at one time. John was here the whole time and has stood by the only 1 leak. My roof is extremely big and complicated with over a dozen leaks prior to this. His carpenter also properly replaced rotted wood and an improperly done joist for little extra cost. It looks very good and I am confident he will stand behind it. Be careful of using non local, recent transplant contractors for important work on your house in the Greenville area. They do a great job.

  People tend to love or hate roofers. I was kind of neutral about this firm. I called to ask for an inspection of my 10 year old roof and Ronald Brooks was out the next business day. Impressive. He got up on the roof and walked around a bit and then came down to let me know everything looked fine with just normal wear and tear. However, he missed a few things that another roofer found later and just fixed for free. Okay, good and also not so good. So, bottom line, at least they didn't try to sell me on a complete roof replacement like some unscrupulous roofers that also came out, but they were not as fully thorough as might be hoped for. So overall, just a "meh" experience.

  I thought we needed a new roof as our insurance stated they will not renew our policy due to our roof. Ronald came out and inspected our roof. He said we do not need a new roof, just a couple of repairs. Then the company will write a letter for us to give the insurance. How many companies will be so honest? The other quote we received was for a full new roof and even $2000 higher than we were quoted by Joe Roberson & Son Roofing! Ronald had given a quote for a new roof, just in case we wanted to see that. I highly, highly recommend Joe Roberson & Son Roofing!
