  What a great company! I have been doing an extreme makeover on my backyard for a whole year now. Carolina Heating services has been the most professional of the contractors that I’ve had out here. It was the easiest thing I’ve had to do yet. They handled everything including permitting and inspections. The whole team was employees. I never saw any contractors and everyone of them worked in sync with the others to provide an excellent installation. It only took them one day to complete the installation.It was just a wonderful experience. I would recommend them for anyone looking to have a generator installed.

  I called and set up an appointment to have my AC units checked for routine maintenance. The appointment was set up for a Friday between 2-4 pm. Friday came and 4pm came with no one showing up so I called to find out where they were. I was told my appointment had been cancelled. When I asked who cancelled it. I was told that they had overbooked that day and the "girl" had tried to call me but couldn't get me so she just cancelled the appointment. I have a cell phone that is close to me at all times and I answer calls except those identified as "spam". She could have texted me or sent me an email to inform me that they weren't coming but she didn't choose to do this, so I was expecting a repair person to show up. After I had called originally to set up the maintenance, I found out that one of my AC units was not working so when I called to find out where their man was, I asked that someone be sent out. Carolina sent a repairman who arrived at 6:30 that evening and made repairs. When I asked if he was going to check out the second unit, he said no, that this was an after hours extra-cost emergency repair and that I would have to call back and set up a second maintenance check for BOTH units. Not a great way to run a business if you want repeat customers.

  Had some issues with the appointment time as mine was supposed to be from 10am-12pm. When I contacted the office at 12 as I had not heard from anyone they explained that the technician was delayed at a previous appointment and that my service appointment was next on the list. The technician called me about 145 and was here around 230 and done by 330. Katie (??) always does a great job.

  We've subscribed to Carolina Heating for nearly 3 yrs now. Initial service from Michael in plumbing was so strong that we added on HVAC and generator monthly services. Year 1 was solid, but in year 2, we felt a definite push from the team to add on chargeable services when they came for checkups. Then they dropped their 2nd svc/yr on the generator side (with no explanation) and have failed to call to schedule 2nd HVAC services so, we the customer, need to call them and then try to get a timely appt. We understand the company is now part of a larger private equity organization and they have gone from 5 stars to 2 stars in our opinion and 1 star is in sight. They have lost Michael and some of our other favorite folks (who left the company to go elsewhere) and most of the newer folks are still polite and helpful but far less experienced (so fixes take longer or require multiple appts). I would advise you look elsewhere for plumbing, HVAC and generator services in Greenville.

  The call center was a inept. The 1st time I call I was transfer to the commercial division no one answered and i left a message for them to call me back. No one returned my call so after lunch I called back a second time again I was transfer to the commercial division at first no one answer then someone picked up and told be there was no commercial division she put me on hold for 7 minutes, I hung up again and called back when the receptionist answered again she tried to put be back with the commercial division again and I told her there wasn't a commercial division and wanted to talk with someone else. Finally I was transfer to Carolina Heating Service in Greenville SC and they help me right away. The service tech was great he work quickly to fix the problem, and had taken the time to explain want was need and the cost.
