I called yesterday because something was leaking and Van (who is great!) came back out to check. There was a part that needed to be replaced on my hot water heater. I took away a star because they should tell you on the phone that they refuse to do repairs on water heaters older than 6 years. My water heater is 6.5 years old. They then wanted $70 for coming out to look, but refusing to repair, only offering me quotes of $3,000 or more to replace a working system, it’s just a cold water connection outside the water heater that needs to be replaced. I’m glad Van was able to waive the fee, but customers should be told before scheduling that if it’s a repair on a unit older than 6 years, they will only offer a new system and charge you for the visit if that’s not what you need.
