  The Garage Door Guru in the Phoenix Metroplex was bad! My home warranty contacted them to replace a broken garage door spring. The tech suggested I change both springs, so I paid out of pocket to have the other spring changed. The door open/closed twice after they left. Now the garage door isn’t working at all, the opener light just flashes. I called and complained to the technician, he said he weighted the door and set the springs as needed. I have a 8 foot door not a 7 foot door. The technician installed springs for a 7 foot door, that’s why it’s not opening. I had a friend come by to try setting up my remotes thinking that’s what was wrong since we unplugged the opener, it wasn’t. I called my home warranty company and complained, they contacted Garage Door Guru, they said everything is good with the springs, they wouldn’t come back out to check it. I had a different company come out and tune up the garage door hoping they could get my door to work. The first thing he said was “they installed the wrong size springs for a 8 foot door!” I’m still waiting on my home warranty company to get this corrected. I highly Don’t Recommend this company!

  We had a great experience with Garage Door Gurus! I texted last night for a broken spring/door wouldn't open, and Matt was here to repair it at 9am today. He was friendly, experienced, and did a great job of explaining the nitty gritty of garage doors. He replaced my old solo spring with two new ones, and the garage door now opens more smoothly and easily than it has in years! He also tuned up the door system at no extra charge, and gave me solid opinions on other things and options to look at down the road. I chose these guys after hearing good things from several people in my neighborhood. they were right! We are very pleased. Thanks guys!

  After accidentally backing into our garage door and bending it completely out of shape, we were bracing for bad news. To make things worse, it was 2 PM on Christmas Eve. Enter Garage Door Guru. Within an hour of calling, Matt was already at our house like a holiday miracle. He was incredibly professional, friendly, and had the door fixed and perfectly aligned in just a couple of hours. The level of care, responsiveness, and craftsmanship was outstanding, especially on Christmas Eve. And to top it off, the price was very reasonable. Fast, skilled, fair-priced service when we needed it most. Highly recommend Garage Door Guru.
