- JSJan Skolnick3 days ago4.0Jeremy was right on time. He did a thorough assessment of our heating systems ( humidifier/ de-humidifier). He explained the service package of semi-annual visits to maintain and prepare for the change of seasons. He was extremely polite and listened to our comments and needs quite well. He was clear and articulate. We valued him as our preferred technician to come to our home if we decide to go with Peco Heating & Cooling. The 4 star rating is not how Jeremy assessed our systems— that was a 5 star rating.The estimated cost to sign-up for the annual plan was much higher than I expected. It’s almost 2x what I pay for currently doing basically the same type of maintenance. So I interviewing another competitor early in May. Then I will have comparisons to make an educated decision. PECO replaced a bulky, failing, noisy, inefficient, off-brand system that was installed only 5 years ago with a high efficiency sleek Daikin heat pump in one day, in spite of attic access issues, for a competitive fixed cost. The technicians were professional and completed the install of an unobtrusive, quiet, horizonal fan outdoor unit and a likewise quiet and modern (WiFi Google ready thermostat) indoor air handler. PECO completed and filed the rebate and registration paper work for us... A nice customer service perk.
