Carolina Custom is great! They put a new Hvac in last summer and it is working great. We recently got the free Inspection updated and Roderick was outstanding! He thoroughly checked the unit in the attic and outside. Roderick was friendly and very professional.

Mike Craven was great, pleasant and professional. I had called for a second opinion for a possible refrigerant leak based on what a previous maintenance tech from a different company said; he wasn’t pushy and explained things well. Overall a good experience from start to finish and I feel a lot better about my situation.

This company is completely unprofessional. I have called their Awendaw office numerous times in the past 2 weeks to speak with the installation manager (Dale Morris) and the Director of operations (Chris Blevins) and I have not received a single return call.
If management doesn’t have the common courtesy and business etiquette to return phone calls, I can only imagine how they run the day to day business operations and treat all their customers.
I owned & operated every level of a very successful, multi tiered, Multimillion dollar HVAC business for over 3 decades in Florida, so I 100% understand how important it is to return phone calls which is actually one of the easiest tasks in doing business.
I am still waiting for a courtesy return phone call
My recommendation to anyone seeking services from CCA is to think twice before getting too involved with this shady company.

We recently had a new HVAC system installed in our home by Carolina Custom Air, and I wanted to follow up with another review to recognize their outstanding customer service.
A few months after the installation, Carolina Custom Air reached out to schedule a routine checkup on the system. Today, Curtis Rhodes, a service technician with Carolina Custom Air, kindly let us know he was on his way and arrived right on time.
Curtis was prompt, courteous, and very professional. He performed all of his checks efficiently and thoroughly, and we received a report confirming that everything is in perfect working order.
It’s great to see a company that continues to provide excellent service even after the installation is complete. Thank you, Curtis Rhodes and Carolina Custom Air, for the exceptional follow-up service and customer care. Highly recommend!

The customer service agents and service tech’s at Carolina Custom Air from Awendaw, SC, have all been very professional and a pleasure to work with. 5 Star’s all around.
But I’ve recently discovered one MAJOR fault with my recent purchase of a complete HVAC system. The Carolina Custom Air salesman convinced me to buy a Daikin system, as I wanted a system that was as quiet as possible. I purchased a multi zone AC system with an additional GAS heat system. I thought the Daikin would work the same as my previous Lennox unit.
Unfortunately during a recent follow up visit the service tech, Mr Wright informed me the Daikin was setup to use the electric heat pump as the primary source to generate heat with the GAS system as a back up during extreme cold. I told him that I wanted this swapped to the GAS being the primary source for heat.
So another service visit was scheduled for the following week.
The two tech’s, Harry and Destin arrived on time and were very courteous and professional from the start. We reviewed what I had requested and they went right to work. After checking my system Harry and Destin came to me and said they were unable to change the priority heating to GAS. They also stated they spoke with Matt at Daikin Tech Support and he advised them that this was NOT an option.
I’m amazed that Daikin would build a system to function this way. Why add on a GAS unit to the system if it’s only going to work as a backup? Now the electric side is going double duty which I’m sure will shorten its life span. If I had been told this by the salesman from Carolina Custom Air I WOULD NOT have purchased the Daikin system. And I want be recommending the Daikin system!
