  I called for service for no heat and they were a no show and no call back after calling for three straight days after telling me they would be bye later that day. After the third day I called again and a supervisor said the didn't come out because I didn't have a contract for that location? They had my money for it but forgot to put that address down? They told me to call another hvac company for service. The next day they called me to say they had applied my money to that address and I could have service the next time I had a problem. I'd say that was a day late and a dollar short for a company I had been using for 20 plus years.

  I narrowly avoided a propane explosion because of this company's failure to fix a common problem. They repaired a water leak on the boiler in November, then we scheduled an inspection/cleaning in December since the unit had no been serviced in quite a few years, which Kafin was aware of. On both occasions, the technician had to relight the pilot and never said a word about the corroded thermocouple right there in plain sight. (for those who are not familiar with a thermocouple, it's the MOST common item to fail, especially in cold weather). This should have been caught on one of those 2 visits. We began smelling gas in the garage the last week in January. When the boiler stopped working the following Saturday, along with a strong gas smell upstairs, we requested an emergency service call. The technician found the thermocouple was severely corroded, also causing the gas to leak. The bad part was replaced and the boiler re-lit. Their failure to catch the problem on either of previous visits almost caused a gas explosion. I cannot recommend this company.

  We had Kafin Oil Co replace our HVAC system. Brandon and his team replaced the condensers and hydro air handlers and filled them with R32.
