  The guys at Travers were wonderful. It turned out to be more of a major job than anticipated. A couple of other companies couldn't do the work so someone suggested Travers. I'm so glad they did. They were personable and explained everything going on and what they were doing. I would strongly recommend them to everyone. Thank you!

  I like to support family owned businesses. I had a very good experience. The people are very friendly and Jim came in and did a great job. He knew what he was doing and cleaned up when he was done. I will use them again and recommend them if you need a plumber.

  Really appreciate how fast they responded to my call. They were out the next day and fixed my drain line so I can use the water again. Professional and quick response. While they were quick, they were also much more expensive than other plumbers in the area.

  Extremely disappointed with this company. I paid $175 for an initial appointment and received a quote 32 days ago for $3,200, which was significantly overpriced. Despite this, I never received answers to my questions, and no one ever came to assess or measure my bedroom where a radiator was supposed to be added—even though we have no heat in that room. After repeated attempts to follow up, I was completely ignored. It feels like their business model is to provide an inflated quote, collect the initial fee, and then move on without completing any work. I wish I had seen the many negative reviews from other unsatisfied customers before engaging this company. The owner clearly does not care, and this is not an isolated incident—it appears to be their standard way of operating. This experience was unprofessional, frustrating, and a complete waste of time and money. I cannot recommend this company.

  Let's face it, if you're searching Google for plumbing or heating services you're probably not in a very desirable situation. A lot of businesses aren't taking on new clients, others will schedule you 5 days out, then there are worries about exorbitant costs and service quality. Do yourself a favor; call Travers. They were the 6th place we called when our water heater crapped out (including the business who installed it 8 years ago). Next time, they'll be our first call. Jennifer who took our call was prompt, courteous, and - most importantly - knowledgeable; they understood our situation and fit us in same-day and arrived even slightly ahead of schedule; I was informed of their billing structure on the first call; the technicians (Chris & Jim) who came out worked quickly and talked me through their work throughout the process; and they provided reasonable options from which we could choose to fix our issue with practical cost-benefit considerations. As a home-owner and property manager I've relied on more tradespeople than I care to recall. Travers has moved right to the top of my list for plumbing or heating.
