  My generator stopped working during the recent snow storm. Apparently it shut off because of the snow accumulation that prevented airflow. The technician was professional and explained the problem clearly. It took less than 5 minutes to activate it again, which I could likely have done myself. The switch turned off--I know how to flip a switch. The cost of the visit reported will be $250 which I consider very expensive for the time and issue. I am retired and the only person living in the home.

  Cox came to perform annual generator maintenance. The tech, who has been consistent since I’ve owned the machine, spent quite a bit of time making sure everything ran smoothly. He explained what he did, gave me an idea of how many more years my battery would last, and as always, super polite and professional. Getting a whole house generator was the first thing I did when I bought my home. Aside from the product being excellent, Cox has been outstanding with all of their support and service. Highly recommend them.

  Just had a whole home/standby generator installed by Cox Electric. We were extremely happy with the entire process; everything was explained on what day/time things were happening, everyone was great! We officially used it for the first time during that historic blizzard when we lost power for about 36 hours and it was a lifesaver!! We have 3 small kiddos, so this was a no-brainer! Best investment ever!!

  Cox Electric did an outstanding job installing our Generac generator from start to finish. Every person we dealt with was professional, knowledgeable, and respectful of our home. They showed up on time, kept us in the loop throughout the process, and the work area was left clean and organized when they were done. What really set them apart was how they handled all the details we didn’t want to chase - permits, coordination, and the overall “make it happen” stuff that usually turns into a headache. They made the whole install feel straightforward and well-managed. They also went above and beyond by telling us about a grant program we didn’t even know existed, and it saved us a significant amount of money. That kind of transparency and customer-first mindset is rare. Highly recommend Cox Electric if you want the job done right, on schedule, and without stress.

  Had our standalone Generac generator serviced. Dan was very punctual, working on the generator at 8.01 already. He did run all the diagnostics before and after service and gave me a debrief on the generator condition. In and out the whole thing took maybe 40 minutes. Cox Electric also installed the generator in the first place, and they did a great job. Very happy with the service!
