  What a joy to work with a company that SHOWS UP! Great service. Everyone working on the job site was kind, ever so good with cleaning up at the end of the day. I did not shop around for pricing. A1 was referred to me by my neighbors who were equally impressed. I'm a true believer in listening to what people say....if they are pleased with the service and would pass along the info.....You will not regret it.....A1 is the only call you should be making.....THEY DO SO MUCH MORE THAN ROOFING....   Ferry Landing Condominium Association (FLCA), Portsmouth RI - Roof Replacement Project (RRP) Three years ago, FLCA formed a Building Committee to review, study, recommend, and prepare for a complete roof replacement project. The project was for 13 buildings with 73 individual homes. The project scope consisted of replacing all roofing materials, waterproofing, trim, balconies, skylights, and cedar shingle siding above the roofline. The committee prepared a detailed and comprehensive bid and specification package and sent it to 15 contractors who had expressed interest in the project. After careful analysis, background checks, and a successful competitive bid, A-1 Roofing and Construction Co.(A-1) was chosen to perform the work. The Ferry Landing homeowners approved the budget and the contractor, and the RRP work began in March 2025. A-1 was responsible for all the permits, materials, and labor. The overall RRP was substantially complete at the end of August 2025. The difficult logistics of completing a project of this size couldn’t then and can’t now be overstated. Working around owners, weather issues, storing materials, and clean-up were on-going challenges. A-1 and their subcontractors needed to work through those challenges, and they were constantly recognized by the owners for their professionalism, friendliness and expertise. A-1 and their leadership team were constantly on-site to handle any issues and met regularly with the FLCA leaders for updates and project coordination. This was a major undertaking for the homeowners at Ferry Landing as we invested in the future of our property. A-1 proved to all of us at Ferry Landing that they are leaders in their industry. We made the right choice of contractor and were fortunate to have had them on our project. The results achieved were commendable. Thanks to A-1 for a job well done!

  A1 Roofing just installed a new roof and 4 skylights today . They arrived at 7am and completed the job at 2pm same day. Excellent crew and very professional! Yes they are the best.

  I highly recommend this high quality company. We had a sudden leak in our roof that allowed rain from the night before to seep through my ceiling and drip all night long on our bed . We did not have the luxury of moving the bed away from the dripping water so we had to wait anxiously until the next day to call for a repair . First thing the next morning we called A1 Roofing and was immediately greeted by their office staff who was so pleasant and empathetic with our situation . They said they would give the message to the owner , Sean Napolitano right away due to the circumstances. Sean arrived that day to evaluate the situation and said that he would get one of his crew out as soon as he could . The next day one of his lead men, Atilio arrived to evaluate the situation. Atilio was extremely personable and knowledgeable as he assessed the leak and its origin. In no time Atiliio and his helper patched the damaged part of my roof and took the time to show me pictures on what he did. This business is A-Plus in my book and I cannot say enough about the responsiveness of Sean and his staff to relieve a huge amount of stress created by the leak in our roof. This business deserves a rating of a 10 plus versus only a 5 star that the rating will allow us to give. Thumbs up with endless appreciation to Sean for his ability to understand our immediate need and to Atilio for his knowledge and personality to get the work done with a high degree of professionalism !! Thank u A1! You truly are an A 1 company!!!

  A1 Roofing were really great. We were very impressed by our whole experience with them. They were very easy to communicate with, from our initial contact, to quote for job, through the work being done on our roof. Their work was absolutely professionally executed, and we are very happy with the finished roof. As our house is very close to our neighbors property line, we were particularly pleased and relieved that the crew took great care with protecting, and cleaning-up where necessary, the neighbors property. We would not hesitate to recommend A1 Roofing to anyone who needs roof work done for them. Everyone at A1 was really friendly, willing to answer all our questions, and thus made the experience much easier for us.
