  RooterMan diagnosed the issue as a faulty cartridge and quoted me $195. I informed them that I had already installed a new cartridge. They removed it, reinstalled it, and turned the water on and off a few times. I was then told the handle would be tight for a few days but should loosen over time. However, that has not been the case, as the handle has not loosened and remains in the same condition as when I initially installed it. I later called and spoke with dispatch, who stated that Sam was “in trouble” for undercharging. That comment raised additional concerns for me, and it is what ultimately led me to file this complaint. I feel I was overcharged without receiving a proper repair or resolution.

  I am so glad I picked you. Sam was wonderful and friendly. He checked everything out and I had the radiator fixed since thats where the water was leaking out from. Thank you for walking me through the whole system.

  Sam, the plumber was very skilled and quick to analyze my problems. It was an interesting marketing tool to text me cold. I had a kitchen faucet, a shower diverter and a toilet problem. All set now.

  I cannot say enough about Ed and his team! I got the info from a Home Depot referral and I will never use another plumber again. Ed kept in constant contact and scheduled me as quick as possible. Paul and Sam showed up exactly when they said they would and they were awesome!!! The problem was not as bad as I thought (I thought it was sewer line issues). Come to find out, it was my (likely) 30 yr old (ish) toilet needed replacing. I could have installed one myself, but they clearly explained the options and reasons for each. I have a very sensitive sewer system and the fact these guys gave me pros and cons of each and didn't push the most expensive option on me spoke volumes. HIGHLY recommend Rooter Man! Thank you again guys!

  I had a serious blockage in the toilet because I started emptying things that I shouldn’t in there. I had two other plumbers come before them but they weren’t able to clear it with traditional methods. I called Rooterman in Johnston. Ed answered the phone not a recording. He gave me a good price should the last plumber (tentatively scheduled) not be able to make it by morning. It was late when I found out that plumber couldn’t make it so I left a message on Rooterman’s answering machine. Ed called me back and set up an appointment for 7am the next morning. Ed, Sam, and Paul fixed the blockage within a couple hours and cleaned up afterwards. I gave Ed a tip because I was very thankful for him being so helpful and accommodating. I told him to do whatever he wants with it. After giving me a hug, he left. I went outside a couple minutes later because I thought of a question. He was already splitting up the tip with his employees. He didn’t have to give them anything and they wouldn’t have even known about it. He’s a good guy which is an added bonus. I highly recommended this excellent team.
