- GVGail M Della ValleDec 30, 20251.0We had a very unfavorable experience with Lumber Liquidators (LL) in Whitehall, PA, customer care. Our contractor suggested a pre-finished floor that would nicely coordinate/compliment our existing Bruce pre-finished floors that were no longer available. After looking at the large in-store sample, we agreed with his recommendation and proceeded accordingly. The floor was installed timely, but did not look anything like the sample, although the molding did. After our contractor talked with his contact at the local store, he was advised to open a case with customer care. After much back and forth with customer care, lumber liquidators is unable to do anything. BEWARE - if you order wood flooring, I strongly suggest you open a box and lay down a good sample before install begins to confirm it is as expected. I never had to do that in the past but this was a lesson learned. Customer care explained that it was the responsibility of our contractor. We feel the store samples that are used for ordering should be a good representation of what to expect when delivered / installed. We are extremely disappointed in how LL did nothing to rectify this - no one was interested in seeing how our floor compares to the sample. Boo lumber liquidators - we are no longer a fan and will not recommend you to friends / family.
