  My elderly grandmother's furnace stopped working at 8pm on a Friday, with a major winter storm forecasted to hit by noon the following day. She previously has had mini strokes to go along with advanced Alzheimer's disease, is on hospice care and I am her caretaker. Her health situation is very fragile, her mobility next to nothing, and trying to get her to a second location at that time would have been nearly impossible. To say I was filled with absolute panic would be a gross understatement, I knew the chances of diagnosing and fixing the problem with the snowstorm and weekend looming weren't very good. I called every HVAC company with an emergency 24/7 phone number that had us in their service range. The only company that answered or called back promptly was Chipps. The receptionist was very compassionate and receptive to our situation and they scheduled someone to come out the next(Saturday) morning at 9am. The technicians that came were cordial and professional. They diagnosed the problem and explained to me what was wrong and what needed to be done to remedy the situation. There was a part(pressure switch) that was failing, he could order one and come back Tuesday to replace it. In the meantime, he had cleaned the existing switch up as well as he could. He explained to me that you can clean them up and they will either work again for a period of time, or fail right away, and ultimately, replacing it with a new one would be our best bet. Luckily ours held up and the house remained warm until he came back that Tuesday for the permanent fix. By 10am, before a single flake of the expected 7 inches of snow fell, my grandmother's furnace was back up and running, 14 hours after the initial issue reared its head. Panic was replaced with relief and gratitude, because we desperately needed help. Chipps pulled through when I felt pretty damn helpless and worried that the woman who helped raise me was about to suffer while she is unable to help herself. So, while I am writing this review for the explicit purpose of relating our experience with this company so maybe someone who finds themselves in a similar situation knows where to look for help, the secondary reason I am writing this review is to say thank you. Thank you to the people at this company that are professional and take their jobs seriously, I hope you guys see this and take it to heart.   Chipps was great. We had an emergency at our house and they were very quick to respond and took care of the problem would definitely recommend.

  CRS plumbing were quick and professional from start to finish and explained next steps to follow. I'm glad to have them and will be using them for HVAC, too.

  This is the 3rd time I've used Chipps. The first was connecting my new fridge to the water supply, the 2nd was fixing the pipes under the kitchen sink, and this time was to replace a transformer and fix a leak in my furnace. All 3 visits have been terrific and when the AC finally needs service, I'll be calling them again!
