  Solid and trustworthy. Didn't need em to do much ultimately, but they quickly identified a sewer main backup and pointed me the right direction to the sewer authority to get it resolved. Gotta appreciate anybody who doesn't make up work to do in order to earn a couple more bucks. Will definitely call em again when we've got a problem that a plumber can actually help us fix.

  Thursday 3/26/26 into Friday 3/27/26, Pittsburgh had a horrendous rain storm. Also Thursday 3/26/26 into Friday 3/27/26, our sump pump failed and the basement flooded. I called 1-Tom-Plumber, and they gave me the option of sending someone over the weekend for a premium, or first thing Monday at regular rate. Well, the damage had been done, so I opted for Monday. Monday they came (Isaac, specifically), and diagnosed and repaired our sump pump on the spot. Turns out, the previous installer hadn't secured the wire properly, and it looped around the float causing it to jam up. He asked if there was anything else I needed, and I asked him if they do water line hookups for in-fridge ice machines. He said yes, and took a look at the fridge. Turns out, there was already a water line there, I just didn't know. He hooked it up in 5 minutes, and that was that. He could not have been more friendly, professional, or reasonably priced (just got charged the diagnostic fee since my pump was technically fine. He zip tied the cable out of the way and tested the pump by filling the tank 3 times. If I EVER need a plumber for ANYTHING ever again, 1-Tom-Plumbers will be my first call!!!

  After a bad rain storm my basement flooded and after an initial visit from a local plumber who was unable to resolve the main issue, I was recommended to rip up the concrete in my basement and install a sump pump to mitigate future flooding. I was initially aiming to go this route until I decided to give 1-Tom-Plumber a call and schedule a visit. Holten Schultz and Jacksen Reiser got to my house earlier than expect, which was a pleasant surpise, and went ahead tackeling the confusing mess that is my houses plumbing. Utilizing equipment that the other plumber didn't have, they were able to figure out where the issue was and get it cleared. They were both super professional, extremely kind, and very patient. Thanks to them I no longer have water in my basement and I now know where the underlying issue is and can attend to that in time, which they even offered me a quote to handle that. I was very pleased with the service they provided and would definitely request them in any future plumbing issues. Because of them, I saved upwards of $7000 since I no longer need the sump pump installed, which wouldn’t have resolved my issue. Thank you again for helping me and my family. As the saying goes "10 outta 10, would hire again!"

  I utilized the services of 1-Tom Plummer Pittsburgh yesterday. The lady who answered my call was friendly and informative and helped talk thru services. Same day service. I was texted info on who was coming and an accurate tracker. Kaleb arrived and was very professional, friendly, shook my hand, listened and then set to solving my problem. I had a storm drain that was partially blocked with a broken seal at a terracotta pipe connection, leaking water all down my yard and round my house. I was concerned with heavy rain forecast that it would keep getting worse. He sent a camera down the drain. Then cut a section off the top of the pipe just above the broken seal and set to clearing the blockage. Drain was cleared and they are coming back to replace the pipe. Very happy with professionalism and work done. (Personal shout out to Kaleb. For being supportive while I panicked!!! And for taking 2 minutes to listen to my kid show him his toy).

  One Tom is a local business that I used for couple of clients ( I am a general contractor) I called them concerning one of my rental properties that I just renovated from the top down, I had a sewage back up and they discovered I had a breach in my outside sewer line in the old terracotta pipe. The camera literally was under water. I agreed to their estimate to Replace or line the entire system to the street. Kaleb, Jacksen, Jake, and Brennon not to forget the management staff Lisa and Matt, were extremely professional. I had reserved thoughts at first because of how young some of these guys are. During the course of the work they had to adjust due to unforeseen scenarios. They were out every day in adverse weather, never complained, worked well with each other and the skill set was remarkable, so the reserved doubts I had were soon gone. I would highly recommend this company and will continue to use them for any personal or company related services.
