The actual workers were great, however, the sales, Oakley Whitesel, and project managers, Tyler ??, are not very helpful and the latter even fudge the truth. Once the sale is made, the Sales Rep is MIA. "Wham, bam, thank you ma'am!" "Gone Girl!" I reached out to him about the Project Manager and I got crickets. Perhaps it should be expected, once they make the sale, why would they need to care. Part of the whole house siding project included taking care of the vents. One of my vents they couldn't restore back to the appearance it had previously, which was the radon outlet. The project manager said it needed a chimney to the roof and that he would take care of it. Also indicated it was outside the scope of the project even though the vents were listed to be taken care of. He convinced me to sign off on the project and that he would take care of the vent. This is what he left me with. This hideous contraption sticking out the side of the house. I swear it never fails with contractors, if they get 97% of the job done and they have your money you can forget that 3%. On top of all of this he was completely disorganized. They brought two different siding colors and put one color up on one side and another on the other. If I didn't come out to look, who knows if it would be caught. It was the project manager who should have caught that before the work was started. I could give 4 stars to the workers because they should have figured out the wrong color on the box, but I guess they trust the company has it right. This brings me back to, the folks making the most money, the sales rep and the project manager, who are the folks who bring it all together are lacking in the ability to give Home Genius 5 stars. I would give this company 3.5 stars overall. They were slightly cheaper than JP Fitzpatrick who did a good job on replacing my Windows and slide door last year. I do recommend JP Fitzpatrick. I would only recommend Home Genius if you are going to be your own project manager and when it comes to vents make sure they can restore it closer to the original than this crap. The image is from last Saturday's text and you see his response. As of 6 days later, nothing has changed.🙄😮💨
