William A. Brojack founded Brojack Lumber Company in the 1940s, building a sawmill to provide timbers to what was then northeastern Pennsylvania’s thriving anthracite industry. The business expanded as it served the steel, wire and paperboard industries as well as the homebuilding market. Today, our mill produces hardwood boards for furniture and export in addition to timbers for local uses and is an American Lumber Standards Certified sawmill under the Northeastern Lumber Manufacturers Association.
Most importantly, we strive to establish and maintain working relationships with our customers by understanding their requirements and providing the solutions on which they can rely. At Brojack Lumber, a customer-supplier relationship based on trust is more than a marketing philosophy. It’s a reality.

I'm a contractor who like to shop local. Better to support small business and the quality is always much better. I stopped here to inquire about composit decking. I needed access to my phone to get a list for a quote but there was no cell phone service in the building. I Asked if I could use their WiFi and was told they cant do that and I could get better service if I stood outside. This was during a downpour of a storm and I was already soaking wet. I looked past what I felt was an xtreamly rude suggestion and got down to business. The man told me to email him a list for the quote so I did. That was a couple weeks ago. Still waiting on that quote. Bad way to treat potential customers. This one is a no go for me.
