  We just had Donnelly's out to replace of HVAC unit and furnace. The whole team was great from the first call to figure out the problem, to the quote and the day of install. The install was done by Dan and Del they were great. Friendly, professional and clean. The quote/service call were John and Joseph who were also super nice and were able to answer our questions. Would definitely recommend.

  I called Donnelly’s Plumbing, Cooling, Heating on a Thursday afternoon for an emergency exterior gas line repair. They gave me a free quote and scheduled the work for 9am the following morning to ensure I would not be without gas for the weekend. Travis, the technician who prepared the quote was also the tech who arrived on time and completed the repair. He was pleasant and professional. He called when on his way and upon his arrival to my home. He also took time to explain everything he did. While I had hoped to get the work done cheaper I have peace of mind knowing the job was done well.

  I had a botched AC unit installation several years ago with Donelly’s. I was given 3 choices 1) keep the unit with a lifetime warranty 2) replace it with a new unit or 3) they would come remove the unit and I could choose another hvac company. I chose option 2 given the assurances that they had upgraded their team and put the issues behind them. I was also impressed with the ownership taken of the issues and moved forward. I replaced the unit using Donnellys. I either have really rotten luck or there is something else going on. The unit has failed on at least three occasions since it was replaced just a few years ago. The technicians can’t seem to sort out the root cause of the issues because as I sit here today the system is broken again. Add to that, the fact that they didn’t show up for today’s appointment and my concerns are growing. I have their maintenance plan, we do all of the service suggested. I am truly at a loss…..

  I needed a water line break repaired leading to the supply line of a toilet. My house is over 120 years old so the plumbing is ancient. I called Donnelly and spoke with their service agent who was polite, informed and able to offer same day service . My Plumber Nick arrived promptly , was polite, efficient and highly professional. He wore booties when entering the house. He quickly determined the problem, documented with photos . I agreed to the repair quote. Nick was very careful to replace copper piping, clean and carefully connected a new t valve and then allow the pipe to cool before re opening the connection. Success !! I was very pleased with the quality and professional results. Pricing was a bit high but quality and timely result made it worth while .

  I want to be clear that I do not take issue with the techs of this company as I believe they are decent people, but as far as services rendered I can not recommend this company in the slightest. I used donnellys for a mini split install at the beginning of March and from day one I have not been able to use the units. Today marks the fifth or so visit to my home in an attempt to fix the units, a visit that I was told would happen with a Daikin rep because of the issues I have had with the units. For clarity, I have a 4 zone set up with a Daikin model mini split, and the company has charged 24,000 dollars for the install that includes a 10 year warranty. Each time that someone has come out, they have mostly read the same manual that I have in order to come to conclusions for error codes and thus it has taken 5 or 6 visits to deduce that it may likely be the magnet for the refrigerant solenoid causing the issue. For now I am currently waiting to see if that is the case but I have expressed my desire to the company to have the units removed and get my money back as I have no faith in maintaining these units for the next 10 years, and I feel there is no justification in the 24,000 dollar price tag. As of today's repair visit, 3 of the 4 heads are working (for now) but the last time they got them to work it only lasted for an hour or so and I was calling them again the next day. In short, do not choose this company for mini split work. Perhaps they are better at the other services they offer, but with regards to mini split install you would be better off attempting it yourself. I hope this review helps those who need it.
