  Window world did great! I’ve been suffering with putting plastic wrap up over all 14 of my windows and I was finally done with it. The windows used to let in so much wind that it would blow the plastic bags right off. Window world gave me a fair estimate to replace all of the windows at an affordable price and lifetime warranty. I’ll be going back to them when I get the siding done.

  We purchased our home recently and the previous owner had replaced the windows with Window World. We were able to transfer warranty and called when we needed our window repaired. From our first call each representative was professional and delivered what was promised. They genuinely cared. the technician who serviced the window promptly identified the problem and made the repair. In a day when true customer service is almost nonexistent Window World provided the best customer service we have experienced in a while. You cannot go wrong using Window World.

  Scheduled an appointment with them for a Monday. On the Saturday prior to our appointment, I’m eating lunch at home when suddenly there’s a strange man in my backyard taking pictures of my house. I confront him to learn he BROKE INTO MY BACKYARD (reached inside to unlock my gate) to take pictures of my house prior to our appointment on Monday. This was not disclosed to me, I didn’t consent to this. He could have called ahead or rung the doorbell when he arrived to introduce himself, explain the situation, and ask permission to enter my backyard and photograph my windows. But Window World didn’t require him to do this, so he didn’t. This is a safety hazard as well as a violation of privacy. I live alone, do you know how scary that is? Never do business with this company. They are not up to date with safety or privacy standards. Shame on you, Window World.

  Alex and his crew were very efficient and neat. You can tell when people know what they are doing by the way they go about their job. I had my own company for 43 years so I recognize good craftsmanship.

  Overall, I’m very happy with the final result. The windows look great, the pricing was fair, and the service was good. The only reason I’m not giving 5 stars is because the windows were initially measured incorrectly and had to be rebuilt. The person who came out to measure visited three different times and the measurements were still wrong. We scheduled the initial installation, and I had already moved all my furniture and prepared the house for the installation date, only for the crew to arrive and realize the windows would not fit and the job could not be completed. I spoke with the installation manager, and he was very apologetic about the situation. They handled it professionally and were kind enough to offer a small discount for the inconvenience, which I appreciated. The downside was that the project took longer than it should have. I understand that older Pittsburgh homes can be tricky when it comes to measurements. It might be worth considering sending the actual installers, the people who know exactly what they will be dealing with, to handle the measuring process. Once the installation finally happened, the installation crew was excellent. They were professional, respectful, friendly, and extremely efficient. The quality of their work was outstanding. I truly hope those two guys are well taken care of because they did a fantastic job. In the end, I’m very happy with the windows and the finished product.
