  Scheduled an appointment with them for a Monday. On the Saturday prior to our appointment, I’m eating lunch at home when suddenly there’s a strange man in my backyard taking pictures of my house. I confront him to learn he BROKE INTO MY BACKYARD (reached inside to unlock my gate) to take pictures of my house prior to our appointment on Monday. This was not disclosed to me, I didn’t consent to this. He could have called ahead or rung the doorbell when he arrived to introduce himself, explain the situation, and ask permission to enter my backyard and photograph my windows. But Window World didn’t require him to do this, so he didn’t. This is a safety hazard as well as a violation of privacy. I live alone, do you know how scary that is? Never do business with this company. They are not up to date with safety or privacy standards. Shame on you, Window World.

  Overall, I’m very happy with the final result. The windows look great, the pricing was fair, and the service was good. The only reason I’m not giving 5 stars is because the windows were initially measured incorrectly and had to be rebuilt. The person who came out to measure visited three different times and the measurements were still wrong. We scheduled the initial installation, and I had already moved all my furniture and prepared the house for the installation date, only for the crew to arrive and realize the windows would not fit and the job could not be completed. I spoke with the installation manager, and he was very apologetic about the situation. They handled it professionally and were kind enough to offer a small discount for the inconvenience, which I appreciated. The downside was that the project took longer than it should have. I understand that older Pittsburgh homes can be tricky when it comes to measurements. It might be worth considering sending the actual installers, the people who know exactly what they will be dealing with, to handle the measuring process. Once the installation finally happened, the installation crew was excellent. They were professional, respectful, friendly, and extremely efficient. The quality of their work was outstanding. I truly hope those two guys are well taken care of because they did a fantastic job. In the end, I’m very happy with the windows and the finished product.

  Window World did an amazing job on our windows. The salesman did an excellent job explaining things and setting expectations. The team that came out to install the windows took time to make sure they kept the house clean and everything elwas spotless inside and outside when they left. The windows look and work amazingly!

  When messing with the curtains, notice a snag in the one of the screens. Sent a message to the company. They let me know on Monday morning they would pass on the information. Received a call few hours later a repairman was in the area and would be there. He showed up and fixed screen,and we are back enjoying these beautiful windows. Thank you again!

  We had an excellent experience with Window World. Starting with our appointment with Rich, it was a comfortable and easy experience. The window fabrication and installation was faster timeline than their original quote and we were thrilled about that. The installation crew was polite, efficient, and left my home in great condition after installation! We’ve gotten so many compliments from our neighbors. Our house is much warmer, and our furnace is not kicking on as much as it was previously! I would highly recommend Window World to you.
