  Had M&R (Chris) out in April '23 for a quote on sealing a patio. Received a proposal by mail shortly after with my name and address mis-spelled and an incorrect phone number (surprised it got to me).…Called their office and spoke to Wendy. Corrected the information, confirmed they received the signed proposal back, and asked about scheduling…Was told I'd be contacted by end of July…didn't hear back…Called again was told really busy will be back shortly…no call back again…Called the office and reached one of their VPs who was 'shocked' that I hadn't been scheduled or at least communicated to…Said he'd get right on it and have someone reach out ASAP….never heard back……would have been fine if they said too busy to do your job or we don't want your job….surprised a company that's been around so long acts bush league on the basics….waste of time with these guys ——————— Thank you for your response….what does strive to do better mean? Someone going to call me to follow-up?

  Thank you for your reply. The problem is, I'm still waiting for a return call from Guy Amatangelo, and now I'm feeling like I'm of no importance to Mariani and Richards. Do I have to harassment to get them to help me?

  I recently had work completed by Marian & Richards that was outstanding. Everything that the on site supervisor, Chris, told me would happen...happened. The guys who did the "grunt work", Tony and Ron, were efficient, very friendly and always on time. The cost was exactly what was quoted. The time frame from our original contact had to be extended due to COVID and contemporary workforce staffing issues that is today's reality, but the time was worth waiting for. I had an issue in my garage that was built over a large crawl space in our basement. The house was built 20 years ago and numerous cracks in the concrete foundation leaked water into the crawl space. The corrugated steel ceiling in the basement looked like the underside of a bridge in need of repair. Within four days M&R repaired the crumbling ceiling, patched and multi-layer coated the garage floor. All of their work was extremely neat and clean. I attempted for several years to hire someone to take on this job and M&R was the only company that responded and had the expertise. Based on M&R's professionalism, I am waiting for an estimate on additional work for the Spring. Joe Hoffman White Oak, PA

  One room in my finished basement has leaked for several years during sever downpours. Mariani & Richards fixed the leak by sealing the outside of my foundation. It was not necessary to tear up the floor in my basement, and the fix worked perfectly. No more leakage.

  Mariani & Richards was easy to contact through the website, and they called in a couple of days to set up the estiment appointment. They who came out was nice, but he didn't really inspect the area that needed work. The government, masonry companies, and the M&R website all state that the mortar used for repairs must match the mortar originally used, so I asked the guy what mortar he would use. He says type N, "that's what we use for all indoor jobs." Now that mortar is too hard for the old bricks on my home, and the fact that they sent a guy who didn't seem to represent what was written on their own website caused me to give them 2 stars
