Ralph Trasatti founded DUN-RITE Aluminum Co. in 1961. The featured products were aluminum storm windows, siding, soffit and fascia, and gutters. A family owned business since then, Dino Trasatti took over as owner in 1995 and changed the name to Dun-Rite Window and Door. The company streamed lined its focus and now is mainly concentrated on replacement windows and doors and the service of older windows and doors.
Our 7,500 square foot plant continues to manufacture storm windows and screens. Our three full-time service trucks repair and replace broken/fogged insulated glass and window parts throughout the Pittsburgh and surrounding areas. Call us and experience our excellent service yourself!

Easy company to do business with. Nice people. Reasonable price. I will call them again when I need more work done.

They showed up on time, extremely polite , went straight to work and easily accommodated my work around as I worked from Home. They cleaned up that you never knew they were here. The end product was the absolute best and I was so happy I chose this company to do the work. I had gotten other bids but this company provided me with a professional layout of my project came and did the work quickly and couldn’t be more happier. Do yourself a favor if you are looking for new windows —- give Dino and Dunrite a chance to install your new windows!!

I handled the quote for a new patio door only through emails, which Dino provided multiple quotes with different options as requested. This allowed me to get timely quotes and they were the most competitive compared to others in the area. The door was delivered and installed within 3-4 weeks, pretty quick. The installers were courteous and efficient and cleaned up well after the job.

Dun-Rite's quote was more than competitive and the interaction with the company rep was the best. The doors were installed as scheduled, and the installers were first-class: professional and courteous in every way. The new Prpovia doors have certainly made for a warmer area around our entrances. I would definitely use Dun-Rite again and highly recommend this local company to others.
