  This place is a two minute drive from my house, so I thought I'd give them a chance. My cold shower valve was dripping, so I removed the cartridge and headed to Grove's counter. The old cartridge had no brand-marks but the cartridge had a fairly faint number on the rim. The counter guys couldn't be bothered to help identify it. "We don't carry those." So I went elsewhere, to a competitor. The young gent at the counter identified via the number it as a Kohler part, which they didn't sell, but they told me who did, and wrote the hard-to-read number on a Post-It. I then drove to a place at 12 miles from there and bought the part. It turns out that the part is the same ceramic cartridge that's in virtually all of Kohler's shower-valves. And Grove's web site shows they have them in stock. I'd have been there and back with the part in 20 minutes if the counter "help" at Grove could be bothered to "help" a customer. Instead it was 3 places and two hours. Grove, you only get one chance to make a first impression. And you blew it.

  If you’re planning to do any work for this company, think twice. I completed a gutter repair for them two months ago and still haven’t been paid. The building owner was calling and texting me twice a day before the job, but as soon as I finished the work, he stopped responding and refuses to answer the phone. It’s unacceptable that a company supplying materials to service providers can’t even pay for services themselves. I do not recommend working with this company.
