- TBTravis BurgessMar 14, 20265.0I had a great experience buying from them. I ordered a ZH24D-2 Mini Excavator and Jack Hammer attachment in April 2024 and the whole process was really easy. The machine has been strong, runs great, and I haven’t had any problems with it so far. Financing through their finance partner was simple and quick, and the delivery went perfectly. They called me the morning of delivery to let me know it was on the way and even sent pictures of it loaded on the truck. I’m about 6 hours from their store and it still showed up the same day. I also had to order a small part (a sight glass for the fuel tank) and their parts support was good too. I called, they gave me the price, sent an invoice, and I had the part in about 1–2 weeks. Overall it was a really smooth and easy buying experience.

The excavator a KH30D-2 has performed very well so far, and the only issue was the log grapple they sent has a smaller pin where it attaches to the thumb, so they agreed to reimburse me for the cost of finding a solution to make it work. I purchased some steel bushings that I’ll try this spring to see if that works and will notify them for reimbursement.

I made the trip over to Middleburg PA to look at couple of their mini excavator options and they were more than willing to show me all their models and attachments while it was raining out! I felt way better with the purchasing process after my visit and knowing I wanted a smaller machine for backyard excavation projects. I got my machine delivered to my house a couple days after ordering the machine with a couple extra attachments. I mean its small, but I knew I wasn't buying a huge machine, it has dug out a 24' x 24' pad for a shed/carport I recently built and with more yard drainage projects planned I'm more than confident the ZH12G will handle it! I highly recommend Groundhog Equipment LLC and I will be going back to them for any future machine/attachment purchases! More photos to come as I complete more of my projects!
