My experience wirh Gen3 was awesome from beginning to end. I had a serious concern but that was resolved by talking to the installation Mgr Paul Rome the gentleman and gentle Gaint was great. The crew was on time and left everything clean when they left. Now I'm just waiting for the last step to be completed per Mgr Paul. I would definitely recommend this company and Rome and his crew. Additional review is being added as of 4/26/26 the job is totally finished now that Rome the gentle giant came back out with his crew to cover the outside large exposed cable wires with the PVC covering. They did a very good job.

I paid $300 for a diagnostic and got one of the most unprofessional service visits I’ve ever experienced. The technician told me that only a “level 1” diagnostic had been performed and that he would need to charge me even more to continue. That made no sense for a diagnostic visit, so I called his supervisor for clarification. After that, he changed his story and tried to claim I had misunderstood him, even though two other people heard the same original statements.
From that point on, he acted like a complete child — defensive, pouty, argumentative, and raising his voice instead of handling the situation professionally. He also fell off the roof, listened in on my conversation with his company, followed me upstairs, sat outside my bedroom door, and then left without closing the attic access or even saying goodbye.
I do not trust this technician, I do not trust the diagnosis he provided, and I would never recommend this company based on this experience.

Today I had Brian to come out and replace my circuit breakers His job was done very well and timely although it was a bit of breakdown in communication overall this employee is very professional at what he do In my request I ask please don't come down on him we all make mistakes he learned something and so did I and I would not hesitate to ask for him again bc I will call bck and request him to put cameras up I was taught that you must make a wrong before you make a right so in conclusion I know Brian is good at what he do his work speaks ahead of him he seems to be a great asset to your company Again Brian I apologize for any inconvenience towards you and your day Again this was only just a simple breakdown of communication no need for discipline or him missing work that would bother me so i just ask that we look at this as a learning experience and Mr Brian can continue to make money for his family.

Do I need a permit for electrical work in Philadelphia or Melrose Park?
In the Philadelphia area, most significant electrical projects—such as panel upgrades, home rewiring, or installing new circuits—require an electrical permit from the local Department of Licenses & Inspections. Yes, our certified electricians specialize in residential EV charger installations. Why does my circuit breaker keep tripping?
A circuit breaker that frequently trips is usually a sign of an overloaded circuit, a short circuit, or a ground fault. This is a critical safety mechanism preventing electrical fires. If resetting the breaker doesn't solve the issue, or if it trips immediately again, you should call our expert electricians to diagnose and safely repair the underlying problem.
Do you handle knob and tube wiring replacement?
Yes, replacing outdated and potentially dangerous knob and tube wiring is one of our specialties. We provide comprehensive home rewiring services to bring older Philadelphia-area homes up to modern safety standards, allowing you to safely use today's high-demand electrical appliances.
How often should I schedule HVAC maintenance in the Philadelphia climate?
Given the extreme temperature swings in the Philadelphia area, we strongly recommend scheduling HVAC maintenance twice a year: once in the spring for your air conditioning system, and once in the fall for your heating system or boiler. Regular tune-ups improve energy efficiency, extend the life of your equipment, and help prevent unexpected breakdowns during peak summer heat or winter freezes.
What HVAC brands do you install and service?

However, our highly trained technicians have the expertise to service, repair, and maintain all major HVAC brands and models, including furnaces, boilers, heat pumps, and ductless mini splits.
What is a ductless mini-split, and is it right for my older home?
A ductless mini-split is a highly efficient heating and cooling system that doesn't require traditional ductwork. They are an excellent solution for older Philadelphia homes that lack existing ducts, for room additions, or for areas of your home that are difficult to heat or cool. Our team can help you determine if a mini-split installation is the right fit for your specific needs.
Do you offer indoor air quality (IAQ) solutions?

A smart thermostat allows you to control your home's heating and cooling remotely via a smartphone app, and it can learn your schedule to optimize energy usage. We install top-rated smart thermostats and ensure they are properly wired and configured to work seamlessly with your specific HVAC equipment.
How do I know when it is time to replace my HVAC system?
You should consider replacing your HVAC system if it is more than 10-15 years old, requires frequent or costly repairs, struggles to maintain comfortable temperatures, or if your energy bills have steadily increased. Our team can provide an honest assessment and a free estimate for a modern, energy-efficient replacement.
Do you service and install boilers?
Yes, many homes in our area rely on boiler systems and radiant heat. Our experienced technicians provide comprehensive boiler services, including routine maintenance, emergency repairs, and the installation of high-efficiency gas boilers to keep your home warm and comfortable all winter long.
Can you fix uneven heating or cooling in my home?
Uneven temperatures are a common complaint, often caused by leaky ductwork, poor insulation, an improperly sized HVAC system, or a lack of zoning. Our technicians can evaluate your home's airflow and system performance to recommend solutions, such as duct sealing, system balancing, or installing a ductless unit for problem areas.
What is a heat pump and do you install them?
A heat pump is an energy-efficient system that provides both heating and cooling by transferring heat between the indoors and outdoors. They are becoming increasingly popular in the Pennsylvania climate. We expertly install, service, and repair air-source heat pumps to help you lower your energy bills and improve comfort.

Why is my air conditioner running but not cooling the house?
If your AC is running but blowing warm air, it could be due to a dirty air filter, a refrigerant leak, a frozen evaporator coil, or a failing compressor. Turn the system off to prevent further damage and call our HVAC technicians. We will diagnose the issue and restore your home's comfort quickly.
Do you install ductless mini-split systems?
Yes, ductless mini-split systems are an excellent solution for older Philadelphia homes without existing ductwork, or for specific areas like additions, sunrooms, and finished basements. We install high-efficiency ductless systems that provide both powerful cooling and reliable heating with precise zone control.
How often should I have my HVAC system maintained?
We strongly recommend having your HVAC system professionally maintained twice a year: once in the spring for your air conditioning system, and once in the fall for your heating system. Regular maintenance improves energy efficiency, prevents costly unexpected breakdowns, and extends the lifespan of your equipment.

Our experienced electricians can safely remove the old system and completely rewire your home to meet modern safety codes, ensuring your electrical system can handle today's power demands.
Do I need an electrical panel upgrade?
You may need a panel upgrade if your home still has an old fuse box, if your breakers trip frequently, if your lights flicker when appliances turn on, or if you are planning to add major new loads like an EV charger, hot tub, or new HVAC system. We specialize in upgrading 100-amp services to modern 200-amp or 400-amp panels.
Do you install Level 2 EV chargers for electric vehicles?

We will assess your current electrical panel's capacity, run the necessary dedicated circuitry, and ensure your new charger is installed safely and up to code.
Can you help with flickering lights or partial power loss?
Flickering lights or partial power loss can indicate a serious underlying issue, such as loose wiring, an overloaded circuit, or a failing electrical panel. Our diagnostic electricians will thoroughly inspect your system to identify the root cause and perform the necessary repairs to restore safe, reliable power to your home.
Do you install whole-home surge protectors?
Yes, we highly recommend and install whole-home surge protection devices. Unlike standard power strips, a whole-home surge protector is installed directly at your electrical panel. It defends your valuable electronics, appliances, and HVAC equipment from damaging power spikes and lightning strikes before they can enter your home's wiring.
Can you install new recessed lighting or ceiling fans?
