  We had an outstanding experience working with Rose Tree Construction on our kitchen renovation last Fall. Brian DeGrave and Bob Firman were exceptional through the entire process, from the initial meeting for an estimate to the wrap-up. The team was incredibly thorough and organized. Communication was clear, timely, and proactive, which made a complex renovation (that inevitably disrupted main living spaces and access to our 2nd floor) feel manageable and well-coordinated. They worked collaboratively with us and our design partner, approaching every challenge as problem solvers while keeping the quality, aesthetics, and functionality of the final product front and center. We are obsessed with our island and the 7 ft window especially - it's upgraded the entire home, but stayed true to the overall style. One of the things we appreciated most was the level of trust we felt throughout the project. Brian, Bob, and the entire team (internal crew and subcontractors) treated our home and property with great respect, maintained a well-managed worksite, and were consistently professional and considerate ... and patient with our kids when we needed to get them around the work in progress to get to school! Beyond their craftsmanship and attention to detail, they were great people to work with — responsive, collaborative, and committed to doing things the right way. We’re extremely happy with the finished kitchen (remodeled bathroom, updated entryway and dining room, and mud room, etc.) and would highly recommend Rose Tree Construction.

  We're very pleased with Rose Tree Construction. Our project was big with a mudroom addition connecting to garage, complete demo and rebuilding of downstairs, new bathroom, windows, pantry, kitchenette, office etc. A lot was involved with plumbing, electrical, carpentry etc. We were impressed from the get-go when we met with Ed McLoughlin. Using the architect's plans, he quickly assessed the siutation and left no doubt in my mind that he understood the project and our concerns. The crew were really terrific. We liked all of them. The foremen, Bob and Brian, were always accessible. As you can imagine, older homes introduce unique challenges and these guys really worked to get the best outcome for us. We recommend Rose Tree Construction.

  We cannot thank Rose Tree Construction enough for the amazing work they did on our home. The experience with them was professional, personal, and meticulous from start to finish. We have a 1953 home that had a 1980s kitchen/dining room and upstairs bathroom that needed to go, as well as all the bedroom and closet doors, trim work, and some work in the basement. Planning with Brian in the months leading up to the renovation meant that the chaotic time of having our home torn apart had a solid timeline that they stuck to, and was only extended in the end due to an increased scope of work we asked for. The quotes were accurate and comprehensive, and the vendors with whom they worked to source materials were also lovely. Once construction started, it was a guarantee we'd have people busy at work in our house every weekday at 7am, and we looked forward to welcoming them like friends. I had a lot of strong ideas of what I wanted, and Bob, Brian, and the crew were amazingly accommodating... right down to my curved banquette and all of the other special details I had been dreaming up since we bought the house 2 years ago. They made sure to show us the work they were doing behind the walls, to assess/correct work by subcontractors they wanted done better (ie hvac or the painters), and include us in every detailed decision along the way. The result has transformed how we live our lives... I'm looking for excuses to cook in our gorgeous and functional kitchen, the heated bathroom floors and beautiful tile make me smile every day, and I feel like we're surrounded by a beautiful, solid home that has turned a "for now" house into a place we would never want to sell. I feel like I'm walking into a magazine every time I come home, but it's not just pretty, it's PERFECT down to every functional detail. We have a second renovation planned for the future, and when it's time to schedule, I would wait to fit into Rose Tree Construction's schedule rather than look anywhere else!

  We had a bathroom added between an existing spare bedroom and an office/multi room. The bathroom required cutting through a load-bearing (former exterior) wall that had old termite damage. We hired a different GC months in advance that backed out of the entire project the day the work was scheduled to begin. It was very upsetting, but I am so glad they did. It was obvious they were way in over their head. I contacted Rose Tree and they came out to estimate the project. Rose Tree provided an engineer to evaluate the project and submit a report for permitting. We live in a borough with rigid permitting requirements, which has been an issue with several contractors we have hired. We never once got a call from the borough because of inadequate or late paperwork. Rose Tree took care of all permits, and the work started on time as promised. From the beginning, Rose Tree showed experience and professionalism beyond what we have seen with other GCs we have worked with. I cannot say enough positive things about their Operations Manager Brian, who provided drawings and proposed layouts that we had not considered. We assumed a small single corner shower would be the only solution, but we now have a full shower thanks to Brian's planning. He took care of so many details; it really relieved the burden of so many decisions. All of Rose Tree was fantastic to work with! Every tradesman that did work on the project was experienced, professional, and personable. It's stressful to have folks working in your home for weeks. I think they did everything possible to ease this stress. We are thrilled with the work. Everything turned out beautifully, and there were no surprises. I will go to Rose Tree for any and all projects in the future.

  We have used Rose Tree Construction to remodel our master bathroom and basement. The professionalism is evident from the start. The owner, Ed McLoughlin, provided us with a thorough estimate, a fair price and detailed timeline for completion. The crew at Rose Tree Construction were always on time, kept the dust to a minimum and took great care to be as minimally interruptive as possible. The space was completely cleaned up after each work day and the work was completed on time. We are beyond thrilled with our completed projects. The attention to detail by all of the Rose Tree workers is beyond expectations. We highly recommend Rose Tree Construction and will absolutely use them again for additional home remodeling projects.
