I interviewed three companies for bids on a crawlspace project I wanted to have completed. My choice on working with Keystone basement systems was not based on the lowest bid. One company was more one was less Frank Ray was our consultant. He was knowledgeable. Understood our goals, pleasant and courteous. It was an easy decision after we met with all Involved. I recommend this company based on my first impression. I will be quick to tell you if I made a good decision when the work is completed.

Nathan Rich, Darrell Hutson and Khalil Perdue did a fantastic job on the half-wallie install for my basement. Nate explained everything confidently and was able to work with me on how the sump plumbing would be installed to accommodate the finish work the follow-up Contractor would be doing. The 3 men were very professional and worked well together. I'd give them a 10 out of 10. Thanks!

Keystone Basement Systems are a top notch professional company and leaders in the encapsulation of crawl space business. Their salesperson Jayden Williams and his over 90 minute assessment and presentation including samples of what they would be using plus a short video sold me on their products and business. Jayden followed up after I signed the contract and sent me a thank you card. This is what a business needs to do in order to gain the customers trust and feeling assured that they made the correct inn decision.
I was notified by Arley the prior Wednesday that the installers would be arriving Monday the 22nd and they would contact me when they would be arriving around 11 am after a meeting. Nathan Rich called me around 9 am and informed me that he and Darrell Hutson would be arriving around 11:30 am after their Monday meeting and then again at 10:30 to tell me they would be at the house at 11 am - and they arrived on time.
Both Nathan and Darrell were professional, friendly, efficient, and started at 11 and worked without break until 4:15. Nate explained the process again to me as did Jayden when he sold me on their business. Nate made sure to ask me a few times if I had any questions. I had a few minor ones that he answered. I was even given a discount because I had cleaned out the entire area. That was a nice bonus and appreciated.
Nate told me he would take pictures throughout the installation and will send them to my email. Throughout the day every couple of hours he kept me informed of where they were and what they were doing. Darrell and Nate never stopped moving all the time they were working in the crawl space.
At the end of their job Nate informed me that they were short with supplies and asked where the closest Lowe’s was located and said he was going to drive the 7 miles, get the supplies and come back and finish the job instead of having a maintenance person come back out and do it. He said that he and Darrell like to fully finish the job and they returned in 30 minutes and did.
I cannot say enough about how much I was impressed with both Nate and D and their work attention to detail, cordialness, and professionalism, I would rate them a 10 out of 10 and Keystone Basement Systems the same - a 10 all around.
They may cost a bit more than their competitors, but the materials, salesmanship, communication, and installation all proved - you get what you pay for. Kudos to Keystone and their product and team. I would highly recommend them without reservation.

Only leaving this review because that seems to be the only way to get the attention of the CEO or GM who are apparently too busy to talk to a customer who’s building they effectively damaged. Initial experience was pleasant, but once the laborers arrived, everything changed. None of these drains are graded properly, absolutely no elbows or Ts were installed so water just pours endlessly under my expansion joints/into my foundation. Even if elbows/Ts/end caps are installed, water will flow in different directions and pool up in corners of system. So the entire system needs to be jackhammered out and reinstalled. Staff was smoking weed in our parking lot, poured leftover concrete down our original drains and into our 1,000 gallon oil/water separator.
When I complained about the whole system being negligently installed, concrete poured in the drains, etc. I kept being fed excuses about how they “accidentally installed an open system” Yet they attempted to tie the drain system into the sanitary line. So I’m vastly confused why the drains are pouring water under my slab but were simultaneously attempted to be TIED INTO THE SEWAGE LINE if it was an ‘accidental open system.’ Also, they used our tools without permission which are now no longer usable for our line of work. Also no apology or restitution for pouring concrete down my drain.
Frustratingly, this company only sends their project manager Devon to do their bidding. he is very kind and professional and does everything he can. Unfortunately for me, that only led to having the offer of another crew reinstall the whole system. Unfortunately for Devon, that meant dealing with me for 2 days. I emailed the owner/CEO twice and the GM once. No phone call or email response from either of them. And I asked to speak to them directly both thru speaking to Devon and the front office (multiple times), but was denied the privilege to speak to these “very busy” individuals.
Also, we were told that this system could be driven over. But when the team arrived, the foreman claimed they had to modify the design we wanted because the drains could not be driven over. Again on camera. The design which had a 4th drain, and attached to the contract, did not have the 4th drain ‘highlighted’ but it appears to be penned in black. The ‘highlighting’ was done with a dark blue pen. Very shady and disingenuous, or sloppy and unprofessional at best.
Furthermore, they left such a mess that my employee and I spent about an hour on our hands and knees with sponges, washing all the concrete off the floor, as if we were finishing grout at the end of a tile job. Again, this is all on camera
Also, they are saying they want to ‘make things right’ and exercise their right to repair. My issue is I have no proof they know how to do this properly at all, and the owner and GM refuse to contact me to give me any reassurance. Also, the contract does not state their right to repair, and to my understanding of right to cure/repair it is supposed to be within reason. IE fixing small to moderate mistakes. Not redoing an entire project from start to finish after a company completely botched the entire job and pours concrete down your drains.
Finally, they are alluding/leaving me to assume that they want to sue me over this ordeal if I hire someone else to fix this instead of letting them take another swing at it. But as I already said: because the owner and GM are unwilling to talk to me like adults, all I can do is assume.
All I’m asking is for some communication with someone with authority at this business so we can come to an amicable solution where I feel comfortable with the outcome and they have some amount of cash going to them, and/or void the contract and put this behind us. Not asking for any of my money back, not asking to have my concrete filled drain repaired, just asking that we all wash our hands of this and move on. I’ll gladly remove this review if that happens. You have my number, grow up and call me.
