- KNKira Nightingale6 days ago5.0We used Keystone Mitigation to clean up after an unfortunate roof leak in our bedroom. We were referred to them by our roofer, and we're so glad he recommended them! They came by to assess the space on a Tuesday, and were back on Thursday to cut out the damage and dry out the room. It was more involved than we thought, and included our ceiling, wall, and part of our wood floor. We had to wait a bit to get moving on the fix due to insurance, but as soon as we got the insurance go-ahead they jumped right back in to start the work. We unfortunately had a high deductable, but Keystone worked with us to stay within our remaining budget. The wood floor was patched, and we were concerned about how it would look, but it ended up looking incredible! If you didn't know it was patched, I don't think you'd even notice. Over the course of a couple of days, they sent people out to do drywall, build an inset shelf which was an "extra" that we wanted just to make the room a bit nicer, and spackle and paint. I couldn't believe how quickly they responded and everything came together. They're incredibly communicative, I never felt like I didn't know what next steps were or when they would happen, and they were really responsive to questions. I sincerely hope we don't need remediation again, but if we do I will absolutely be reaching out to Keystone Mitigation!

At end of process they did an air quality check (has to be requested). It drastically decreased the count (around 1.4k in basement and less than 200 in attic). Since the count was slightly high in basement, they came in again to do another round and redid the duct cleaning for free. Did another quality test afterwards. Got less than 500 in basement. If you need to go through insurance (I did not), they have done it before, so they know the process.
