Absolutely do not pay until everything is delivered, no matter what. Good luck getting them to respond after you've paid. Details: These people are... strange. They have a decent product lineup. Pre-install, they were very responsive—until we paid the first installment. The install itself was okay. One of the installers spoke some English, which isn’t always the case these days. However, the installers didn’t have the four post caps for the posts around the gates. They said these needed to be a different style. The work was done on Sept. 19th, and they promised to install the caps by Monday, Sept. 22nd. We still don’t have the caps. We've called them five times—same response every time: "They’ll be installed tomorrow." No apology, no explanation. I'm about to initiate a credit card dispute—they charged us the full amount, even though the proposal had payments in three phases, with the last due when the work was complete. I will be disputing the final payment. We have new neighbors moving in three weeks from now, and they had expressed interest in getting a fence. I was about to recommend A&S, but that’s obviously not happening. If you do choose to work with them, make absolutely sure all issues are resolved before you pay. They do not seem to stand behind their work at all. Update: The letter telling them we were about to dispute the charges seems to have worked. Someone showed up Saturday morning and installed the missing caps. I don’t know what the issue was—the caps are exactly the same as the rest. No apology, didn’t knock on the door, just came onto the property, installed the caps, and left. So... yeah. I hope I don’t need warranty service. Based on this experience, I’d probably have to go through small claims court or something.
