Dishonest and untrustworthy. My father had a house built by D&D Home builders. Several issues were noted during the home inspection. Major issues were fixed in a few months. But after 19 months of being in the house the front door still does not seat properly and damage to the kitchen floor hasn't been replaced/fixed. Deborah (owner) stated that all repairs will be completed one year after move in date to capture any and all deficencies that are found by the home owner. Took them to small claims court and the owner Deborah lied and claimed that she knew nothing of the issues and the damage to the kitchen floor wasn't caused by their company. Her sales representative Rob came to the house prior to moving in and took pictures of the floor and advised Deborah of the problem. Deficiency lists were dropped off to D&D on numerous occasions because they miss placed the previous list. I was planning on having a house built by D&D, not any more. I wouldn't trust them to build an outhouse let alone a family home.
How long is the process from contract signing to the end?
