  Sila left me and my family without heat in order to try to sell me a new boiler instead of doing a fifteen minute repair. I called Sila because my boiler was flooding my basement and I had no heat. I was pretty sure I knew what was wrong (the valve that feeds the boiler was faulty and slowly feeding the system water). They sent someone quickly and the guy was friendly but that's where the good stops. He told me that he couldn't fix it without thousands of dollars of work and that I was better off getting a brand new boiler. He then quoted me 13.5K for the new system. Fortunately I called my usual guy and he told me that a new boiler should only cost 8-9k and that I was probably right about the valve. He then helped me shut off my water so that I could use the boiler without flooding until he could get there. Then next day he came and fixed the valve in fifteen minutes and now I have water and heat no thanks to Sila. It's not only unprofessional but it's pretty unethical to leave a family with a young child without heat to make sales. Sila should be ashamed.

  Zach from Sila stopped by my house to do a checkup on my HVAC units, and I couldn’t be more impressed. He was professional, knowledgeable, and incredibly thorough from start to finish. Zach took the time to explain what he was checking, pointed out things in a clear and honest way, and answered all of my questions without rushing (especially about my Ecobee smart thermostat which I just installed a few months prior). It’s obvious he really knows his stuff and takes pride in his work. He made sure everything was running properly and left me feeling confident that my system is in great shape. On top of that, he was friendly, respectful of my home, and easy to talk to—which goes a long way. If you’re scheduling service with Sila, I highly recommend asking for Zach. Excellent experience all around.

  Outstanding Maintenance Service We recently had a maintenance visit from Shawn, and the experience was excellent from start to finish. He was extremely attentive and took the time to truly listen as I explained the issues we were experiencing. Shawn was able to quickly identify the problem and address it efficiently, which immediately put us at ease. What really stood out was how thorough he was afterward—he walked us through the operation of our new unit step by step, explaining everything in clear detail and making sure we fully understood how it works. His professionalism, patience, and knowledge were greatly appreciated

  The responding technician to my brand new install that failed after 2.5 hours does not like dogs & I have 3 of them. The interaction that followed was less about fixing my boiler system and the fact that I’ve had no heat for 4 days. My dogs were placed outside at his request and he chose to leave and end the visit because of my attitude. I’m grateful he left because I did not see any understanding of the situation nor its inconvenience to me an my family. My attitude is one of frustration and this technician just added more frustration to the scenario.
