- MKMatt Kugler6 days ago5.0i wanna say my experience renting from sunbelt rentals was excellent. first of all i found your staff to be extremely courteous and accommodating as well as competent. the equipment i rented worked well and was maintained well. i especially enjoyed the customer drive-thru, it made loading and unloading equipment into my own vehicle nice and easy. i felt Shawn took the time to answer any questions and show me how to operate said equipment safely and properly. i am really impressed with the entire experience renting from sunbelt, and will return should i need to rent anything else. the best part, the price of rental was extremely reasonable, i was blown away by the rental rates, very reasonable. i highly recommend this establishment if you need to rent anything, just show up and they will take care of you, they did for me!!! thank you guys so much, i am grateful for your service, thank you!!
- DNDaniel NealSep 24, 20251.0I rented a dingo and a skid steer from sunbelt and the equipment was terrible. It’s not well maintained, they lied and said the skid steer was going to be a closed cab and they had removed the front window. We needed to be fully enclosed for the work we were doing with it. We also rented a trailer from them to move the machine and the chains and binders did not work correctly. They blamed the previous store for that error and just brushed it off. They charge an outrageous amount for their rentals and give you terrible equipment. They don’t care about their customers they are just in it to make as much money as possible and try and control the market. If you are in the area Westmoreland Equipment is 1000% the better option. Their equipment is fairly priced and in incredible condition. The owners care about their customers and go above and beyond to help.

They asked what kind of work I was doing, and I explained that I needed to move a lot of dirt across steep slopes on about 10+ acres. After all that, they offered me a backhoe to handle the job. If you’re not a big company, they don’t seem to have time for you when it comes to renting serious equipment. Stay away from their “big green new deal.”
- CAChristine AckermanMar 25, 20255.0Best customer service! I rented a 5.5hp tiller on a Saturday morning. Caleb started it up and walked me through how to use it before he carefully loaded it into my car for me. When I got home, through nobody’s fault, the tiller wouldn’t start. I called them and Caleb walked me through a few things to try to get it started. Unfortunately, it didn’t work but it was obvious that Caleb has a very thorough working knowledge of engines and his instructions were on point. I was dreading loading it up and exchanging it but Caleb came through again. When his shift was done an hour later, he drove another tiller out to our home! Also shout out to Andy who I spoke to the Friday before renting this tiller for helping me reserve the right machine for my job. Both gentlemen were really helpful. We already have plans to rent from them again in the coming weeks.
- RBRichard BAug 4, 20221.0Reps will add useless rental insurance without asking you, which is in violation of truth in advertising pricing law. They will lie about pricing over the phone. They will rent you the most expensive trailer available when you reserved a different one and claim its all they have, until you tell them nevermind then they all of a sudden "find" the right trailer. They charge junk fees that they mask as fake "environmental fees" also undisclosed in advertised pricing. All around an unprofessional racket.

What do I need to rent a tool?
All you need is your driver’s license or a government-issued photo ID and a credit or debit card to pay for the rental upfront. No extra deposit is required.

Is a deposit required for a reservation?
For customers without a line of credit, Sunbelt Rentals does not require a deposit to rent tools and equipment. However, you will be asked for payment information when you make your reservation. Your credit or debit card will not be charged for the rental period (one ((1)) day minimum) until you pick up the equipment.
For Credit Customers, we will secure a deposit for your reservation. This deposit will be held within your account until the rental equipment is returned and the contract closed. Apply for a credit account here.
If your project is quick and you only need the equipment for a few hours, Sunbelt Rentals does offer a Rapid Return rate. Return the equipment within four (4) hours of the pickup time and we will refund the difference of the Rapid Return rate. Rates will vary based on product. What if I need to keep my equipment longer?
If you need assistance, please contact the branch of the equipment rental and they can extend the rental for you. When you keep the equipment longer, we will add the additional time and charges to your contract and credit card. Please refer to the rental contract, where the day, week and 4-week rates are shown for each piece of tool and equipment.
Can I return rented equipment at any location?
Typically, equipment should be returned to the same location where you initially rented it. If you need to return it to a different location, please contact the store where you rented the equipment for guidance. It’s advisable to call ahead so we can assist you in finding a convenient alternative location for your return. Your convenience is our priority.
What is the cost for the delivery of equipment to my location?
The delivery charge is calculated based on the category and class of equipment, the location of the rental location, the distance of the project site from the rental location.
Can I get tools and equipment delivered to me?
Yes, Sunbelt Rentals offers convenient delivery options from our extensive network of locations for a reasonable fee. When making a reservation, simply select the delivery option. During the reservation process, you can specify the delivery drop-off date and time, as well as your estimated equipment pickup date. The estimate is for our planning purposes and not a final date.
To initiate our equipment pickup service, you must confirm the end of your rental via the app or by phone. Additionally, if you have specific delivery instructions or prefer a designated contact person for coordination, please include those details when submitting your reservation.
For businesses utilizing a commercial credit account, associated delivery and pickup fees will be reflected in your invoice.
To receive notifications about your delivery, adjust your settings in your account to receive reminders and updates related to your delivery and pickup.
What happens if a tool breaks or quits working while I am renting it?
Sunbelt Rentals inspects and services each piece of equipment prior to each rental and should be in good working order. If you experience problems with the tool while renting it, please go to the specific Equipment Detail page within the reservation to request service. If you need additional assistance, please contact the branch of the equipment rental and they can arrange for next steps or a replacement. If you want to have protection in the event of damage, Sunbelt Rentals offers a Rental Protection Plan (RPP), which can be purchased at the start of your rental.
