Very honest, professional and responsive. My furnace quit working and they came out the following morning. The techs were very polite and respectful. It can be tough to deliver the news to someone that they need a system replacement. The system was 25 years old so it wasn't too much of a surprise. Shortly after, their boss came out and gave me a very fair estimate. He was very honest about what needed changed and what wouldn't. The price he quoted me was super competitive as well, within hundreds of dollars of my other estimates. I ultimately did go with another installer, based more on equipment preference rather than price.

This company came to work on my neighbor’s furnace but also helped me in the process. My car was stuck in the snow and Brett and Isaac helped push my car out. Super nice people!

Frequently Asked Questions About Sitler & Lemmon Heating Company
What does HVAC stand for?
HVAC is an acronym for Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning. This term encompasses the systems responsible for regulating temperature, humidity, and air quality in residential and commercial spaces.
How often should I have my HVAC system serviced?
We recommend scheduling professional maintenance biannually. Ideally, have your cooling system checked in spring and your heating system in fall. This routine upkeep enhances system efficiency and can help prevent costly repairs.
What's the average lifespan of an HVAC system?
Typically, HVAC systems operate effectively for 10 to 15 years. Factors such as brand quality, installation precision, and maintenance regularity can influence longevity. With diligent care and consistent servicing, some systems may exceed this average lifespan.
How can I tell if my HVAC system needs repair or replacement?
Consider replacement if your system is over a decade old, requires frequent repairs, or struggles to maintain consistent temperatures throughout your space. Our technicians can conduct a thorough assessment and provide professional recommendations based on your system's condition.
What size HVAC system do I need?
The appropriate HVAC size is determined by various factors including your property's square footage, insulation quality, window count, and local climate conditions. Our team conducts comprehensive on-site evaluations to ensure your system is optimally sized for both comfort and efficiency.
How can I improve my system's energy efficiency?
To enhance energy efficiency, maintain clean filters, ensure unobstructed vents, schedule regular maintenance, and consider upgrading to a high-efficiency model or installing a programmable thermostat. These measures can contribute to reduced energy consumption and costs.
Why is my AC blowing warm air?
Warm air from your AC could indicate insufficient refrigerant, a clogged air filter, thermostat malfunction, or compressor issues. Our technicians are equipped to diagnose and resolve such problems promptly, restoring your system's cooling capacity.
How often should I change my air filters?
For most residences, air filter replacement every 1-3 months is advisable. Households with pets or allergy sufferers may benefit from more frequent changes to maintain optimal airflow and indoor air quality.
What temperature should I set my thermostat to in the summer?
For a balance of comfort and energy efficiency, we suggest setting your thermostat to 76-78F when occupied and higher when unoccupied. Smart thermostats can automate these adjustments for enhanced energy savings.
Why does my AC run constantly and never shut off?
Continuous AC operation may indicate an undersized unit, a contaminated condenser coil, or insufficient refrigerant levels. Our team can conduct a thorough inspection to identify and address the root cause, ensuring your system operates efficiently.
